1. I've never had a problem with K Packet. It's cheaper but slower than EMS. Quality seems to be the same in my experience.
2. I think the designation should be fine if you're in the US. Someone may have more info.

Man, I have the lenti, 1/4 coming. As well as Frozen BF, Edge of Tomorrow Japan, (possibly) both GotG Nova, Iron Man BF and Cap 2 BF pending. My wife is going to kill me :p
I'm in that same boat but also CAP 1&2 THOR 1&2 BF! I just got Psyched cuz you reminded me that Japan steel ALL YOU NEED IS KILL is coming!! Yeah!!image.jpg

Where are you seeing this, like what did you search for? I can't seem to find any on eBay, just wanted to look for myself. lol
Just search for "Iron Man KimchiDVD" - it was the first thing I tried and it came up with them.

Maybe if there was a larger print run then there wouldn't be such scalpers? Just saying.
It is because of the limited availability of these steels that is the root of this.
If this title had say, 10,000 copies, it would sell out eventually. Everybody that wanted one would probably get one.
As a collector, i dont really care how many copies have been manufactured.
Eventually, the collectability of steels will wane. It doesn't matter to me, I just buy the films i like to watch more than once. I dont buy these just to make money!

Maybe it's just me, but I enjoy knowing I have something that is rare, and hard to get ahold of. I don't plan on selling them, but it makes them more valuable to me personally.

It appears quite a few of us missed out in the UK, (As well as other locations of course) I had the 1/4 in my cart and k-packet selected and it was still 2pm, as soon as I selected paypal the server conveniently hung until 2.03pm then I got spat out lol. In my option, once you have a steelbook added to your cart, the order should be honored until you can complete your transaction. Bit like Amazon, then if you haven't completed in say, 10 mins the stock is reissued to be purchased, but I guess these are the words of a disappointed collector!
Think server went down between 2302h to 2303h. Same thing happened to me. Got all in within 2 min. But halfway through checkout it stopped responding. After that redo cart then was sold out. :(

What about the UK? I used K-Packet is that bad? :ohno:
K-Packet is fine, I've always used it and never had any problems, it's cheaper and you're less likely to have customs issues compared to EMS.

It takes about a week on average to get delivered to UK after dispatch.
You do get a tracking number, which you can use here to check the status.

I've found after it leaves Korea, sometimes tracking doesn't get updated when it actually enters the UK - the postie is also supposed to get a signature on delivery, but mine often doesn't bother.

Naw. That's fine. My Kimchi stuff that has come k-packet has been fine. Original Invoice is the setting I always use, as customs here in the U.S. aren't the same as U.K. etc.

Thanks for the reassurance! this is my first order with KimchiDVD, and even though I did a few dry -runs, I never actually completed an order. My brother's name is Tony and is a big IronMan fan. He isn't into steelbooks (yet) so one of the Lenticulars will be a Christmas gift for him. I will make damn sure he realizes how rare and valuable this steelbook is before he opens it. :)

EDIT: My order status shows as "payment completed". Does that mean that everything went though as it should have? I'm assuming that the order was successful.

So for all the guys who got in no problem and got what they needed- what is the difference? Luck? Is one browser better than the others? LTE instead of G4? Wired vs. wireless? I was strolling along and hit the wall at payment and got 'fail' over and over. Then it hung. I panicked and cleared my cache reloaded and barely made it through. I KNOW I put 2 Lentis in my cart, but my receipt says 1. So maybe because ONLY 1 was left for me it let me go with that. So- the first post-order posters made it sound like a walk in the park...But I was on point...and still it was hairy. A lot of hung progress bars. Sorry to the fellas who didn't get one- I feel ya (Nova.....).

That's what happened with me. Selected PayPal then no response until it came up with item in cart unavailable. Really annoying as I sneaked out of work at 1355 to set it all up. Had to give up at 1415.

Your all good, my brother on 'Payment Completed'! You are a very nice brother! I got my god daughter Kimchi FROZEN!

As usual I had both in cart within the first minute and pressed the paypal button with no response of the server. That sucks big time. I guess I will skip the kimchi and Nova Collections from now on and will stick to Blufans. Because I hate these frustrating experiences. If they don't want my money, I will spend it elsewhere... Thus far I collected every Kimchidvd release, but enough is enough.
