Wow totally sold out. Thanks for the info!

Now for me to continue sitting on eggshells waiting to hear back from Tony about my "Receipt of Order" status haha.

Interesting isn't it, a Steelbook we have no info about the embossing/debossing/finish for sells out completely in a day just because it's Iron Man and/or sold by KimchiDVD.
All domestic quantity are currently sold out.
it means kimchidvd could not get iron man live again.
totally sold out.
Already a Korean seller advertising it on eBay too.

Yea same. Not putting any money through till I know there's 1 reserved from my order... Though something tells me he isn't going to reply.

I think you would have had a better chance if you had sent the money earlier. It might be a case of first come first served. The worst that could've happened is that he returns your money.

That's what I'm curious about as well. My case is a little different as I payed for Credit Card and already have a charge on my account and got the Paygate confirmation email. Which I'm hoping guarantees me my copy. Fingers crossed.

Oh ok, yeah, I think you should be good. tony said he's still going through the orders, so I would just wait. I've had to wait a few days sometimes.

I have one question, I have placed order on lenticular version, but at the end paypal payment page was loading a 3 minutes without success, after refreshing an error has occurred, then I could no longer make payments and all was OOS. Now my order is still on my kimchi account with status "Receipt of Order" :ohno:
I emailed kimchi on order@ with a request for not delete the order and allowing payment. I know that in Korea it is sill a night so they do not respond quickly. What do you think that I would still be able to complete the order, or no chance for this and it will be canceled? Someone already had such a case in the past?

Got this from SteelMadien post in case you may have missed it.

From their FB page, if anyone is wondering about their orders

Dear international customers.

Please be patience until kimchidvd staff checked the order status.

I wouldn't buy any now. If your going to try your luck on the bay wait until people at least have them in hand first. Prices will drop from now until they are in hand.

Thanks for the advice. Will try to hold off but that one dude from China who has like many copies looked pretty reasonable. Normally wouldn't mind missing out but this is the only line I have complete so far. Btw been meaning to say thanks as when I started out I built my collection from your auctions. :)

It makes no sense to collect the entire Kimchidvd series if you miss out on some, although you are in time to order and then have to pay more than 100 USD for a single steelbook to complete the collection.
Who the hell collects everything Kimchi puts out? Do you automatically like every movie they have chosen?
I only have a few Kimchis cuz some of their choices are crap movies. If your collecting HAS to be the whole of their releases reguardless of the film, you need mental help with extreme OCD. Or start collecting Hummel figurines...;)

That's great new's. Thank's for that info smileyx9. Rowan
I don't think that's especially good news, if it's just MORE OF THIS! I'd love to stick with Group Buys and buy in democratic, reasonable, and diplomatic fashion rather than being one of the ones crushed in a 'Black Friday'-like stampede.

Just because it's added to your cart doesn't guarantee you the item....everyone who was lucky enough to grab a copy managed to get on and seal the deal. Your argument is invalid my friend. Sorry if this seems harsh.
I think when you SHOULD have claim to that Item in your cart for a specified amount of time until checkout. YOU got there first. YOU got it in the cart. Otherwise, it's tantamount to someone swiping it from your cart while your in the long line at checkout and dashing past people to an express lane.

Its not harsh, speedy Jay, not at all.

But I feel that it's part of customer service to reserve that item for me once I put it in my cart.

Amazon also works that way when the have their December sales periode, they give you a 15 minute window to checkout, if you don't, you lost your reservation.

This system is much more fair than the frenzy at kimchi.

If I put a product in my cart, give me a 15 minute window to pay for it.

Now I lost a 6th kimchi exclusive due to a website which kept hanging at the checkout.
Couldn't have said it better!!

Being unable to order for hours due to server issues is a little different than one that had server issues for a few minutes though.
If KimchiDVD's server had simply gone down for hours, you could have wasted all that time and still not ended up with a copy - at least with this you knew you didn't get one in a matter of minutes instead.

I genuinely do feel sorry for those that missed out on this though and I'm sorry you didn't get a copy, it annoys me that people like you loose out to scalpers.

Unfortunately securing a copy of a popular release is becoming more and more based on luck it seems.
Agree. I don't get the thinking behind it. It does NOTHING for Kimchi's bottom line and EVERYTHING formthe scalper's. Why make so few of an obviously popular film, and make a freakin' s**t-ton of movies that are blah?
Yeah, I know...commerce. Fine. But, again, whose? NOT Kimchi's.
