Very good film indeed, agree with you @Flloydo about the overuse of CGI in places. Overall it wasn't enough to spoil it for me, a very atmospheric drama/horror film and not just about a spooky house with the usual jump scares.

But who knows what's going on with Warner Steelbooks? Dunkirk and now IT, guys please we need these in our lives.

Oh yeah it definitely didn't disappoint.
And agree very dark and atmospheric which was great.

Blufans have a confirmed a Dunkirk release!

In regards to IT, I was very very impressed. I hadn't looked forward to a film this much in a long time and it didn't disappointment. Even when it was announced I thought what a great premium release this could make.

I really hope there will be a premium release for this, I think the artwork and extras could be amazing. Hopefully it won't be too long till we know...

Think he means a general release and or uk release (US is getting a Dunkirk steel) and although I'll be more up for the blufans Dunkirk and a premium of this not everyone will

So no more Kimchi steelbooks for you then?! :p

On another note, I saw this yesterday and loved it. Can't wait to see it again. It's relentless. Hardly time to stop for air in it!

Thought all the relatively new young cast members were excellent. Makes the original TV mini series look like a Disney film! :clown:

As far as premium editions go I will always get at least one premium edition of a film and of course Kimchi is my favorite slip makers so will stay with him. As far as other steels barebones steels that market is flooded and there is no reason to buy them anymore. Just look at the re-releases of films that we know are getting 4K treatment in the coming months. No reason to buy just the blu-ray for those releases.

Listing has changed. No longer a steelbook :(

I read that eventually they are thinking of releasing both movies (this one and chapter 2) as one long feature. So maybe we won't see a steelbook edition until then? :(
