Beautiful edition for a very bad film :)
Don´t know - I heard/read, that it it is not that bad. It´s a low budget movie and probaly kind of trashy. I will give it a try and ordered the Retro-Cover.
I also ordered these two from that line.

Same here - very mixed reviews and bad critics for Road to Hell, but I will watch for myself if it´s good. These Mediabooks are the only way to watch them uncut, because the German rating-controllers (FSK) were very strict with´em.
I have some others of these Retro-Mediabooks and like them very much, but it are only a few nice ones I think.

These ones I have:

Jackals had its release in the States some years ago (2017) from Shout Factory and then a release in France. Very late release for Germany, but better than none.

Nameless creates beautiful editions for sure. But a lot of films are not very good. I have some (The Furies ;) / Cube / Avengement / Cabin Fever ).
Didn't see Road to Hell. Scarehouse I didn't like it sorry :)

but nameless media is also a pain in the ass.

they announce their pre-orders 2 days before the pre-order and 6 days before the release day. wtf?

changing accounts during pre-order (see watchmen)... and other sh!t

but yes, i agree, their mediabooks are great. i hope they wont print the infos on the back one day... it's so old school.

Most of their Mediabooks get a release and you just can notify, that there was one. Sold out most of the time. It is not possible to Pre-order, because nobody knows about it and when the movie-sites tell about it´s too late. The only Mega-rare one I have is "I saw the Devil", that I could purchase from a Backstock from Pretz-Media. The one I like the most is "The Tornament" with the painted cover. It looks very good and I´m glad to have it. The Maniac-one is also good.

If anybody searches the Halloween 2019 Mediabook from NM, look here:

Got mine today. Minimal thicker than the other Retro-ones. The picture is glossy and the rest is matte with spot-gloss and sticker-imitates without gloss (like on all Retro-Covers). I like the shaby look of it and the film-cell thing is also nice. Nameless did a good job on this one and I reccommend it.

I watched "Road to Hell" and thought it was good. It follows the tradition of Eli Roth´s Torture Porn movies, but also has some Grindhouse elements. It is not really a Western movie and also not a Horror movie (no Zombies and no Monsters) - it only has the setting from that time and a story, that plays in this time of the late civil war. The acting was also good and Nadia de Santiago (The Shrews Nest) plays in a guest role. I think this movie is a little underrated and I don´t know how it got these low ratings on different sites. Also the Mediabook looks good and is on sale at the time (I paid €23,99). Like the US-Blu-ray (that is OOP btw) it is the uncut version of the movie.

I watched Scarehouse recently and I agree it is just brutal and not the best movie. A bit better than the "Among Friends"- movie from 2012, but nothing special. At least it has a twist, but it´s very lame and the story is also boring.

I watched "Jackals" today and it is not that bad, but the showdown could have been staged better. Otherwise a solid movie and representative of the genre.

Another post just to inform:
The remake of The Night of the Living Dead from 1990 gets a Mediabook (5 different cover variants + Hardbox and VHS Editions). Will be released from Nameless Media/Eyk-Media and is ,how so often, completely sold out.
I didn´t check my movie shop in the right miliesecond, so I missed.:LOL:. Cover E looks quite good.
