The detailing on the back of that slip is insane. The steelbook colors definitely clash, but on it's own, pretty fantastic.

They will be re-issued by sound of it. Lenti-gate follows Weets scratch-gate by sound of it. Pung is still selling the lenti so not sure if all ar affected.

Zavvi steelbook good enough for me for this movie

Yeah man, I wish I'd pulled the trigger on this back in the day. It's a beautiful steel with that amazing artwork, but was Region B and at the time I didn't have a All Region Player. If they had a reissue I'd be on that thing like fat on lard.

Got my lenti today, does anyone know what the issue was with them?
The lenti is too small for the slip again, although this seems to be the norm at the min. Also there's some white (glue maybe/back of the lenti) that runs around the edge.
Otherwise nice lenti, like the subtle colour change & smoke, also like the spine, will look good with the other 'theOn's

I'm happy with slip A1. Jury's still out on the steelbook though. I really wish they hadn't gone with that horrible colour scheme

I know some think it's boring all the spines have the same pattern, but I like the consistency

This colour block Mondrian style design would have been considered "degenerate art" by the Nazis and confiscated/destroyed but I reckon it looks splendid not just because it's so different to the samey JACKIE BROWN steelbooks previously released but also for its boldness in using all the colours (not exact same shade) as seen on Ms. Grier's uniform and person with panache and great style:-

Would be a dream come true if this design were granted a release in the UK as maybe about time we had another JACKIE BROWN steelbook considering the previous was released here some six years ago and even though the Zavvi JB steelbook has director approved art still surprised not to see "Director approved" art on this new steelbook considering Mr. Tarantino's fondness for abstract art:-
