Streaky matte
Universal steelbook releases in Europe have generally been better than the US for several years.

If I recall, the Duel 4K steelbook was a Gruv exclusive. So, I imported the French release from Fnac and was pretty happy when it showed up with a gloss finish. I wasn’t smart enough to do the same with Jaws.

Dispatched nice and early.
WTF is happening with HMV delivery's lately dispatched on Tuesday so they say and they still have not got it "WE ARE EXPECTING IT" so the tracking says.
Time to start ordering elsewhere if this **** carries on. I could more or less put my mortgage on my orders being delivered on a Friday.

No, this is entirely normal, they haven't shipped it as the release date is the 28th (3 days from now), they've just created the shipping label and then sit the package in their warehouse waiting till it's closer to the release date before handing it over to Royal Mail.

Personally I'd rather get the notifications than not, even if it means they send them out a little too early.

Well, I got charged by HMV on Tuesday but didn't get the despatch notification until yesterday afternoon. Then an email from Royal Mail to say "we've got it" last night with an expected delivery date of Monday. This is actually quite late for HMV in my recent experience as typically I receive pre-orders on the Saturday before release date (but only very occasionally on the Friday before, though).

Always been 50/50 Sat or Mon with me at HMV.
Last 4 have been Mondays. I think with these new rules that RM have instigated over Saturday deliveries (despite the suggestion parcels won't be included) I still think it's having a symptomatic response company wide.

Jaws coming Monday for me

Update: Just had an email from Royal Mail to say it's now at my local delivery office and will be delivered to me today! Which is a bit of a pleasant surprise to be honest! :)

With regards RM's new approach to Saturday deliveries and how often they are going to be delivering second class mail now, that would actually represent an improvement in the level of service we've received from them in recent years!!

Just got my copy and it is a proper beauty :drool::drool: I have put it inside my FilmArena boxset for the ultimate edition and it looks as sexy as ****:drool::drool::drool::LOL:
Genuinely love the artwork. I know folks criticised it for being too 'busy' but as a celebration of the film for a 50th edition I think it's great and looks awesome on a steelbook! The new documentary is decent too
