I think this will be better for us in terms of buying Premiums and better for them as a company. Why? Because simply Manta will act as both / main distributor and indirectly through his friend company as Manta Lab. Nobody in between. Better and faster access to titles because there is no third person involved. A typical play in the business because distributor legally cant be a retailer at the same time, therefor they do two companies but it is basically one.

Manta is still doing all the design and such from my understanding. No need to worry about anything. Just a delay until releases start up again but the quality and such doesn't change. Just administrative stuff

If Manta is the licensee for WB, does that mean when they send designs for approval, they're essentially sending it to themselves or does that go back to WB hq?

Yep, after uncertainty with Blufans, here comes another high class retailer to the ice :grumpy::sick:. Maybe we panic in vain, but who knows. It´s two big players now bringing a heavy mood to the game :(. I don´t want them masters be replaced by newcomers cheesy amateurs like WeET or Cinemuseum etc.......really wonder when, and what will be upcoming Manta release
IMO, Manta are ahead on EVERYTHING, steels, slips and goodies. BF, as good as their steels are, I still hate their slips. Like absolutely hate them with a passion.
What negative views do you have on Weet, apart from the recent scratches on Avengers steel? Their slips and steels are great.

For starters, WeET’s print runs on everything are huge. But could also mention extensive use of o-rings and thin slips if that wasn’t enough.

What's wrong with having huge print runs if they're going to sell out anyway? Keeps the €bay reseller prices down and let's most people have a chance of getting a copy.
Nova and Kimchi used to only release o-ring lentis, not many complained about that.

I could be wrong but WeET only use o-rings and thin slips for WWA steels, their WEA steels are all in the wider fullslip sized slips.

loads of people used to complain about kimchi collection o rings and the older nova o rings. myself included

weet don't really do it for me either. or at least I preferred their older slip finishes before they were well known and sold purely through kimchi. Now they have that same tacky thick lined debossing on nearly everything. Some slips are nice but they are hugely overrated on here. And their 4 exclusive steels are ok but include too much brushed metal based effects and highly saturated art
