For members based in Republic of Ireland it works out a lot cheaper to order from Golden Discs than ordering from HMV€45 for such a crap steelbook and movie.......it would be such a fine Whiskey for that price
This applies to any release not just this SteelBook that HMV get as exclusive in UK and Golden Discs have available to sell in Ireland
HMV online store is UK delivery adresss only
Members based in Republic of Ireland to use HMV online store they have to use a virtual UK address with likes of An Post Addresspal Service and that involves extras costs
Using HMV online store you end up paying UK vat + Irish Vat + Addresspal fee + An Post Handling fee
Member based in Republic of Ireland ordering from HMV would end up costing the following
Any SteelBook that HMV sell with a price £34.99 in Euros = €42.55
Customs charges + fees adds €22.49
Total cost to order from HMV €65.04
Golden Discs cost is €45.00 +€5.50 shipping = €50.50
You can get free shipping with golden discs if cart total €50 or more
If ordering online then sure but we have a HMV store here in Dublin that has stocked a lot of their recent steelbook or exclusive releases too so it might be much the same in-store.
That might not happen if Golden Discs listing is correct as retailer exclusive for Republic of Ireland
If HMV sell instore this SteelBook in Dublin Store that might cause an issue if Golden Discs report HMV
Golden Discs and other Irish retailers have been supplied before SteelBooks that was HMV exclusive in UK but the difference was those releases they was not a Republic of Ireland retailer Exclusive
Golden Discs have got before a small number of SteelBooks as exclusive and have also sold other UK SteeBooks that are simply trade wide in Republic even though some of those releases in UK was a HMV or other UK retailer exclusive
Previous Golden Discs Exclusives that was HMV Exclusive in UK
These was only available to order for a limited time before listings got removed which golden disc often do when they sell out
