Turned out very popular then. Had hit the "I want to buy" button on FA but didn't hear anything so glad I went with SBC.

The problem here is that when FAC released 2001 copies of the single edition Jurassic world and then they go and only release just over 600 matching E1 slip copies and another 600 E2 for Jurassic Park fallen kingdom.

That’s a minimum of 800 collectors (if you could only purchase one edition) who will not be able to buy the sequel to a previous FAC purchase.

And lately they’ve had a few titles overstay their welcome on the FA website (Blade Runner 2049 to name one)

They certainly underestimated the number of people who want to continue the line though and who thought Fallen Kingdom was worth the premium treatment

FAC should have released a minimum of 1000 of each edition to support their customers who had previously purchased Jurassic World.

I will certainly think twice before investing £50 for a FAC edition of a film where a sequel will be inevitable knowing that there will be possible issues with regards to available quantities

Supply and demand is key and the demand is already there, it’s just a shame that there are instances where supply let’s some of us down.

And unfortunately this is one of the instances.

And it was extremely shrewd of FA to put the shite steelbook in the embossed slipcover that matches the previous 4 editions. As they know people will want continuity in their collection regardless of what's inside that slip.......

I think the picture of the actual steelbook looks a lot better than the mock-up. I'm not saying that makes it great but if I collected the Jurassic Park series of steelbooks I wouldn't mind owning this steelbook from Best Buy.

I only collect Jurassic, so i would have bought this even if it was'nt included in this FAC, despite the fact that i'm not so fond of it.
