Nearly a winner but not quite. Where’s the tail talk about a mismashed mountain range and also where’s the famous Jurassic Logo . Also doesn’t fit in with the previous wave of JP / JW steelbooks grr. This is one case were a WEA Steel is pleading to be made and correct all these wrongs.

I like the front art but opened up it just hurts my eyes that none of it aligns and that the T. rex has just a stump!

I much prefer this to the other design, although it's still not perfect.

However, their unapproved concept was great! Sucks that the studio rejected it.

In this case Noodle's concept should be the WWA release (for those who want a matching set) with the unapproved Film Arena art as a very nice WEA alternative. Shame what we're actually getting are two god awful releases.

I still have a sneaking suspicion though that JW: Fallen Kingdom will be the very first Universal release by Manta Lab they were teasing

Yeah, it's a good thing Film Arena do some great slips so even with this steelbook there's going to be interest, just due to the slips, specially if they're as nice as their previous ones.

What really boggles the mind is how many/a few (?) WEA artworks are rejected by studios every so often yet they readily sign off on this kind of thing!!

This ^^^^^ What were they thinking??? Why miss out on the opportunity to have the artwork wrap around properly? It's not like they're using the rear for something totally different.

Yeah who wouldve thought the bland T.B.C (?) HMV JW:FK artwork would be the best of the bunch, so did not see that coming.

You have an excellent point though as Manta are on the verge of their very first Uni Release and quite possibly they could give Fallen Kingdom a Premium release aswell which would be unreal and abit of competition is always healthy. Only other Uni title that it could be would be the new Pacific Rim but not sure about that one ... maybe.

Yeah quite odd as it looks like they were trying to go for a before / after effect but the framing and angles are all out of whack making it seem that it’s wraparound artwork but missed the mark and just becomes jarring to look at. I’m not even sure the original artwork would work as a wraparound anyways. I must admit though I like the front artwork they’ve used but when it’s opened up not so much.

I want that artwork sooooo bad!! I remember when the title and first poster was released about a year ago, i mailed to The Jurassic Park Podcast and described what my dream steel would look for this movie. And it's like Noodles read my dreams! His artwork is perfect, and the eye on the back, Perfection!!!
