It's going to be around 4 hours long and released episodically. Between 4-6 episodes.
I'd personally prefer it as a movie, but apparently it would "only" be 4 hours long if that were the case... so I'm assuming it'll be longer in episode form if they're planning to split it up into 6 episodes? Unless they're going to be really short episodes lol. But, yeah... the longer the better IMO. :D

6 35 minute episodes would be my guess. But it seems pointless to me to do that. Just release the whole thing in one go, as a movie.
People are psyched for this, its a legit Comic-Con level announcement, they'll be happy to watch a 4 hour movie.
I get the feeling that the episodic thing would be so people would need to sign up for more than a month to HBO Max to watch the full thing, if it was dropped weekly,, but I could be wrong.

Hmm yeah, good point about the subscription length... would suck if that's the only reason they'd rather do it episodically though. Even if it were a lengthy movie, it doesn't mean folks have to watch the whole thing in one sitting... although I most likely would. :p

Really hope this ends up being a huge success... not just for the sake of Zack and the team, but because what it could mean for other "cut" films and/or sequels that fans have been rallying for (Dredd 2 for example).
