Looks like they have used the steaming version for Region A, that is soooooo wrong!

... something happened for sure ! but for me being region A I saw the uncensored movie and since the Uncensored is on the disk for region B, when I get a player for it I'll rewatch it at that time... or when amaray gets very cheap in a while might just grabbed a copy. But VERY happy about the content of the FullSlip.Oh it oozes quality... I was so impressed, love the way they added the lenticular magnet so if you don't want a lenti on your steel you can just remove it and steel is so sweet the FullSlip with the spot Gloss everything about the package is exquisite.

thanks to @chlove0916, he is the one who find this region problem.
at first, he think it's cause by the language setting (like some WB's Japan Blu-ray release), but after tried out lots of different language settings, still the same...
and i saw FilmArena's Youtube channel, they had upload a unboxing video that shows different subtitles menu.
then @Actarus says his friend use region B player, the run time is 02:08:44, so we think the problem is region code...
if you use region A player to play the disc, you will only see two subtitles in the menu: Simplified Chinese (简体中文) and English, and the run time will be 02:04:19.
i think the problem is Fox decide to release China version with the same disc that release in other Europe countries, they have to make the disc play censored version in China, but still can play uncensored version in Europe...
i just don't understand why the hell did they set Region A to play censored edition, that doesn't make any sense...
China should be Region C, why they mess with Region A too...
Out of interest, given that the European disc is Region ABC, which version of the film do you get when the disc is played in a machine set to Region C?
From what I can make of all this, there seems to be only 2 encodes of the film on the disc. Cut and uncut. The uncut one should be for region B and A but the U.S.version seems to be the region C cut. Which is Chinas one.
So I'd imagine C is the same as what you get when you play it on a region A player as it has the Chinese subtitles. (Unless of course it's completely messed up and they are able to view the uncut version by mistake!!! Would need someone with a region C player to confirm that for sure)
Either they forgot to include s U.S. version or, for them, it switches to the cut Region C encode by mistake instead of the uncut Region B encode??
Obviously this isn't FAs fault as all the discs must've been manufactured like this. I take it the regular UK amaray has the exact same disc??

I had assumed that the disc had been tested on a Region Free Player on which the setting could be switched between regions. I was just curious as to whether the incorrect authoring of the disc was limited to playback in Region A mode or also affected playback in Region C mode.
No doubt someone with a Region Free Player will be able to test the disc and provide an answer.
I may be wrong on this, but if you put a region free disc into an all region player will the player not just start the disc in the players region of origin?
For example if the player was manufactured in the UK it will automatically play the region B version and so on.
I used to have an unlocked player but never remember having the option to select a region. It just automatically played any disc.
I assume that to be correct for true region free players but @augutus is referring to players that allow the user to change the region setting manually. It means you can set the player to region A or C to see if a UK disc is locked to B for example or as in this instance to see if the content differs depending on the region.
My own Blu-ray player (Oppo BDP-93) was modded for region free playback but requires manually switching between the different Blu-ray regions, although it does play DVDs automatically.
I was under the impression that, unlike DVD players which could be set to automatically detect and playback any DVD irrespective of region, most if not all Blu-ray players had to be switched manually.
I did, in fact, join the GB for this release but it's still being held for combined shipping with other titles, so at the moment, I'm unable to test it myself.

While a DVD player can be truly region-free, a Blu-ray player will always present one of the regions A/B/C to the Blu-ray disc.
Thus, any region-free Blu-ray player is actually region-switchable via the remote.
I've seen a few multi-region Blu-ray discs that have different sets of bonus trailers depending on what region player they are played in.
Unfortunate that this Kingsman disc has been incorrectly authored to suffer from region C cuts when played in a region A player.
