lol we’re going by the same info you can see. It just says due to covid they can’t make it right now.

They can certainly make one slip, they're doing a Scanavo case one.
Maybe they just don't have enough for 3 slips and an OC + WEA steel.

I’m taking it as translation though. Like it’s been with their communication for years

They can certainly make one slip, they're doing a Scanavo case one.
Maybe they just don't have enough for 3 slips and an OC + WEA steel.

They will most likely use the inside and outside arts of the case on slips and design their own. The on tend to do that. One click could be the book art. Like the HMV first edition

@BluSteel2012 When Kimchi posted an announcement about the Scanavo case/Slipbox combo, someone mentioned it was canceled and others were quick to follow (reasonable assumption based on the limited info available, though still just an assumption).

Then they saw Kimchi had replied to someone on Facebook - who was asking if the steel was canceled - with the quote seen above.

Short version, Kimchi never said it was canceled. It's just easier for them it seems, to release the aforementioned combo first.
