J.C. Chandor (A Most Violent Year) is on board to direct Sony’s Kraven the Hunter movie, with Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Avengers: Age of Ultron) recently cast to play the title character.
THR reports today that Russell Crowe has now signed on as well.

Glad to see I'm not alone in thinking this looks awful! Venom was terrible, and the trailer for the second looked so bad I couldn't even bring myself to bother with the film. Then the less said about Morbius, the better (didn't even watch the entire trailer, let alone the film). Sony should stick to renting their Marvel characters out to Disney whilst they focus on actual creative and fun projects like Spider-Verse.
Ehh... I did watch the trailer now, and I must say it looks awesome!
I mean the poster is extremely pretentious, like a bad porno, and the concept is very stupid - turns out all you need to turn from a weakly 'kick-ass' into a bad-ass, is let a lion bite you, and drip some blood back into your wound...
But everything else is great, all the bloody kills and... oh, there's nothing besides that. Then all the bloody kills look awesome.
