My thoughts also. Love this film, but already have the previous blu-ray steelbook, so no real point in getting this. Would love a 4K release!

This film needs remastering, or even just a newly encoded disc. I am loathed to pay out for an MPEG-2 25GB disc in 2024. The LPCM 5.1 track sounds decent, but whacking that in a digital lossless container wouldn't exactly hurt either.

Mine arrived earlier. It's quite a nice steel tbh. Very glossy, and all the yellow is actually metallic gold.

Yeah, looks/sounds pretty decent tbf. I'd be all over it if it were 4K.

Yeh that's what I was thinking. Having said that Shoalin Soccer hasn't been released on 4k yet. Here's hoping
