True, but then also legit people also miss out. I had no idea.
Any chance its not just Zavvi? i still have the amazon order...
As per zavvi email sent this morning before 9am and website listing it's a Zavvi Exclusive.

It was a very limited amount made available by Elevation Sales the distributor for Sony releases in UK

I expect it was just a small amount stock left over from the re-release in Germany that happened in February 2024
As in Elevation Sales just put UK discs into SteelBook and attach Jcard and shrinkwrap.

Arrived in one piece. Actually decent packaging from Zavvi for once despite using Evri and being late to deliver.

Are these new boxes they're using? All the corners are covered in cardboard. Solid protection.
I don't think I've ever noticed that quote inside before.

End of an era. I'll kind of miss the chase to buy LoA at retail price. :hilarious:

Yep, anything I've purchased from Zavvi recently has had top notch packaging.

This is getting another re-release in August 2025
Amazon UK/HMV links added to OP
So poor from Sony. I know many have made this point before many times but the whole "Limited" thing really does need some marketing legislation around it.

Also come on don't be lazy. Put some different art out there perhaps.

All just makes me feel less enthused when they're constantly pushing the Limited label with re-releases. Just drop the whole Limited thing or else you're just dishonest.

It's now the 63rd Anniversary.

Totally agree, if i miss out due to it being limited then i'm disappointed but that's my fault.
Also sometimes the limited nature pushes people into buying things when they can't afford to due to FOMO,
They all just get away with it, no legal consequences, especially when a limited number is issued.
Also means they will constantly re-release the same films over and over again and the thousands of other releases never see the light of day.
