Anyone else still has issues with the dispatch of their order? I was promised two times by Astro Creations a dispatch (end of September and this Monday) but nothing happened - no explanation given. On the forum here Astro Creations plays down any problem and promises a dispatch "tomorrow", "next weekend" and so on. When you PM them, same thing - promise of dispatch - but then again nothing happens. I got the impression Astro Creations is stalling.

Im really disappointed in your message privately tbh as it comes across quite threatening .
I get the frustration and I appreciate how patient everyone has been so far, this is my first gig, I'm doing this all by myself and it's taken longer then ever expected.

I've been very, very vocal in updates here and other forums and also via Facebook and email, I've answered everyone's questions and mail when I can and usually within a matter of day or even hours. I've provided consistent updates regularly.

Two parcels out of nearly 3000 have arrived with some damage due to shipping which I feel reflects very well on the time and care taken to pack the products.

If anyone is really fed up with the wait and still haven't received there's please feel free to reach out and I'm happy to provide a refund, no issue at all, I'm not stalling & I'm not being uncontactable I'm just really busy.

Just really hope this same energy is used towards other retailers that have taken funds and not delivered for up to 3 years and more, I'm a collector also & a community member, your item is safe and will be delivered and I'm more than happy to discuss and communicate.

I concur with you Dan and think that you're doing a great job - you do keep everyone updated on your facebook page, here and with your newsletters. I've had Indiana Jones, Aliens, Abyss, Dances with Wolves, Demolition Man all come from Dan, with Last Samurai on the way. I'm more than happy to wait, and he always keeps me up to date when I message him privately - fair play to you sir.

He is legit, and comes across as a decent guy, the parcel will eventually arrive and he will solve any issues you have if they exist.
Yes he may miss dates quoted, just keep asking about it but with a polite and respectful manner, you have a right to have updates
but i would give leniency on a release like this, one man job packing a special release (he packs them like all CE's should be packed),
it shouldn't matter too much receiving it lateas long as u do receive it eventually.

Yeah, this was the best experience buying a collectable limited release ever, in my 26+ years of buying from all over the world, even with some delays.

No time like the present to outline some changes going forward I guess.

- All Coms (progress updates) will be directly via mail merge for customers who purchased an item. These will be quite regular to start but then drop off to monthly.
We have recognised with LS release a vast majority aren't on FB, I've been trialling the mail merge route the last couple of months and its working, this will be the way forward.

-All showcase images of the next release will be via my FB page & Instagram (i don't use insta much) They will be included in the progress updates at times but will be sticking to image posts on the respectful social media platforms.
We want to keep the progress updates as clean and streamlined as possible, we want the info in these updates via email to be as plentiful and as useful as possible for customers.

- Shipping will be in large batches continuously to all countries. - Target timescale of shipping the entire release will be 4 weeks maximum.
If I'm being honest the shipping timescale of LS has been very poor, this has been due to so many factors that I've previously mentioned and ones i haven't. I will have help going forward with the shipping and packing to make this a much, much easier process but i still want to oversee this process so it means my time will still be occupied.
I don't want any package leaving that I haven't personally checked prior to dispatch.
A main factor of shipping delays is believe it or not I've made quite a bit of the LS release myself which has been a huge impact! this wont be the case going forward.
After continuous travelling and meetings I've found a fantastic supplier that is highly regarded in quality finishing to there products and we will be using them on 70% of the next release which will relieve me from my time being taken up so much.
No quality will be impacted and dare i say expect better

The next release with have a tentative release date.
This is not to give me excuse for delays but more so to be ahead of schedule, it wont be an unrealistic release date but one i feel can be achieved and even more so beaten. Although i started shipping on the expected release this year, i greatly underestimated just how long it takes to put all these sets together, pack & ship!

As i have this release i will be here in the forum and others to take any questions and queries but the best way to contact would still be [email protected], i usually respond within 3 working days.

I really enjoy this community forum and Ii hope those that have received there LS editions are more than happy and looking forward to the next!
Were down to the last 60 ish editions to ship, I'm going to try my best to see that the ones that have received there's last this time will be one of the first next time but i cant make any promises just yet!

I can't discuss too much at present unfortunately, although it's been verbally agreed/approved the contract has not been drawn and signed so I'm reluctant to jump the gun and state what's next.
I can confirm September is the date I've been given so far for everything to be completed legally, I will then announce the title and proceed with the designing of the complete product.
