would go on this if they had decent packaging but can only hope amazon look at this price and reflect a better one, but expect now people nailing colours to mast as for amazon to put there price up in next week or two as is out on 3.3.14 so goto be soon.
bear in mind expensive zavvi is £19.99 so is going to have to be cheaper.

just had email off sainsburys saying is coming off there catalogue so i am persuming its been moved back in date to when they don't physically sell stock now, what a pain in the :ass::ass::ass:

wish companies would pin dates when things come available for pre-order.

It would be nice if the extended movies would fit on one Blu-ray disc instead of 2 a piece. Even better, take what they did with Underworld: Awakenings steelbook. They put the Blu-ray movie and the 3D on 1 disc and let you decide in the beginning, which one/way you wanted to watch it as. That could slim it down as well. I want a matching slim steelbook to match the ones I have as well. I gave my old Jumbo trilogy away. Just like i will be giving away my Jumbo's of UP and Monsters Inc. when I finally get the slims from Zavvi.

Exactly what I was thinking.

The 3D version would have to be over 2 discs like the Hobbit because I imagine it would be pushing near the 100GB mark.

I don't think this steelbook has a 3D version. It doesn't say it any where on the listing (amazon or Zavvi), and I remember an interview with Jackson and he says there's no currently any plans on converting this into 3D.
