The reviews say that this master is not far from the first. So if you have the first one and are happy, don't buy the new one.

Also the re-release has the US version of the film the 2009 has the UK version. Only difference being the song selection, Kelly Clarkson instead of Sugarbabes

Hahaha - now the "real men" comes out. Totally in the same boat with you guys - it's a Christmas tradition in our house - this, Christmas Story, The Grinch, It's A Wonderful Life and White Christmas. Don't want to give the surprise away but a certain up and coming actor is in this one

what? they removed sugarbabes? I got this blind for nicer packaging and better master, gonna sell it and keep the older version though now.
