I love Noe's films, so I'm very excited to finally see Love. Got me the mediabook yesterday and took some pics...

Facts: It's glossy and limited (and numbered) to 5.000 copies, mine's 2570/5000. There is a quite extensive booklet and a poster on board and - quite unusual - the movie's title is not on the front!

@Back to the Matrix How was the movie? I don't know if you watched it yet; if you didn't let me know after you watch it. I saw the trailer a while back and it looked kinda boring. But you can't always count on trailers to do justice, right?

@AlienKing I would say that the film is about, fear of loss, jealousy, joy, isolation, communication skills and fail, with a lot of explicit sex scenes, which is the driving force of the relationship of the characters.

Or watch rather a porn :p

About the Director:

He is an interesting director, awarded several times especially with very good camera work, however, his movies are not for everyone. His works are experimental, scandalous, with explicit sex scenes & violence excesses

His first film is called - I Stand Alone (1998) - Focuses on several pivotal days in the life of a butcher facing
abandonment, isolation, rejection and unemployment, has developed an abysmal hatred for his environment.

Second film is Irreversible (2002) with Vincent Cassel (The whole film was shot like a long take and the story
takes place in the reverse direction ) It is about follows two men as they try to avenge a brutally raped girlfriend
(Monica Bellucci) - Really Hard stuff

Enter the Vooid is his third film (2009) - All I can say about this movie, it is a psychedelic drug experience.
( He got the idea to make this film as he was under the influence of psilocybin mushrooms )

@AlienKing Didn't watch it yet, but from what I've heard Love isn't as good as Enter the Void or Irreversible. My expectations are therefor kinda low, but I'm still looking forward to see it. Should be today as my girlfriend finally has time for it after her last exams. :)

That's what I'm afraid of. Sometimes with these type of movies, they focus a bit too much on the explicit scenes, or they don't add anything to the story. But I will check out the other movies you mentioned. May be I'll check this out down the line.

This is also on Netflix right now if you can get it. Be warned it gets into the explicit stuff from Second 1 of the film so make sure no one is around that might not need to see it ;)
