Wow, I did not expect to like it so much!
Pixar and DreamWorks didn't create anything good lately, and Illumination has disappointed with the last Minions, but this new studio, Skydance Animation, made me really happy. Their animation is kind of raw, but everything else makes up for it. Such a great idea, interesting story, touching and imaginative scenes, that are interesting to watch even for an adult. Pixar wishes they had such a clever and engaging story, not their usual formulaic and manipulative crap, now sprinkled with Disney 'wokeness'.
This will be a first CGI movie I buy in over 10 years.
