This is a fantastic package. The depth on the lenti is unreal and the photo book (with lenti A) is awesome.

The numbering card is different to all my other HD Zetas though. First one where the numbering on the card is not embossed.

Feels a bit cheaper. Like the FAC ones :(

I have not received tracking numbers for my FullSlip and Lenti A orders.
I have tried contacting @n3wk1d but he is not responding to my messages
Is there anyone else I can contact to get some information on this?
getting a little concerned...

Package arrived Friday, today I could pick it up:

01.jpg 02.jpg

The box was tightly taped, and the items inside protected adequately.

03.jpg 04.jpg 05.jpg 06.jpg

Lenticular Type A = #1088
Full Slip = #644

Not that anyone cares. ;)

I'm very happy with these two, although the Lenti could have been a little sharper. It will look better once the foil is removed, probably.

Anyway, thank you for the GB @n3wk1d and @wxlinkswd

Cheers

Mine arrived today! Been waiting for this FOREVER!!!

Looks great, but I do find it a bit off that HDZ chose to make half the "spine side" display brown cardboard. Pretty unattractive and I don't think I'm being unfair or ridiculous in this regard. The spine of a booklet or something else could have been a better choice. Also, I think HDZ uses waaayyyyyyy too much Chinese text on their spines. The "Mad Max" title in English comprises a tiny fraction of the spine real estate for the slip. It looks sorta ridiculous imo.

Other than those rather minor squabbles, the lentis look really good.

This is definitely the edition to own, but it's not total perfection.

How can you say to a Chinese based company that cater to their local market first and foremost,
that they use too much of their own language on their releases ? o_O

actarus,

there is absolutely no reason under the sun for them to "cater to their local market first and foremost" when everyone knows that the majority of their releases go to english speaking customers. I have always said and I maintain... the collectible steelbook market is a different kind of beast. The market and buyer base is fueled by the internet and the internet alone. The international appeal (due primarily to highly restrictive and narrow minded regional rights) transcends the local markets where the steelbooks are being produced.

This is a movie filmed in the English language. It is not a Chinese movie in ANY sense. If a Chinese based company wants to distribute a movie in their region in which the actors are speaking English as the primary language of the movie, then I see no valid argument that the packaging should be in the Chinese language.

mine arrived yesterday, it is indeed a thing of beauty.

i don't mind the Chinese text at all, not bothered, but on the spine side cardboard, i do agree. i knew what it looked like in advance, of course, but it still surprises me that they didn't make the spine side solid and have the contents come out on the other / right hand side, or top to bottom.

i know that left hand side exit for contents is common, but i also had Let The Right One In (Lenti A) arrive yesterday, and the contrast between Mad Max and the strong, book-style spine for Let The Right One In (which i much prefer) was marked.

I personally don't mind so much the Chinese text as long as there is an English one also.
Blufans slip spines are always in English. No Chinese text at all. So it can be done......
Is this a rare exception then with BF?
Kung Fu Panda Combo Pack... Only Chinese text on the spine and front.

Not sure. I don't have that one, but any of the ones I do have don't have any Chinese text.

Maybe that's just the way Kung Fu Panda was marketed in China?
