Yes :) Mostly concentrating on WEA stuff. You can expect the same quality as Novamedia releases ;)

I think Aniv said before it's like nova , which slide on from top or bottom, like a slipcover.

I searched the whole thread and there is NO confirmation if the ''Lenti Slip'' is like a Nova lenti style OR ''Lenti Slip'' like Blufans(GOTG Style)

Maybe you should do a GB on your own with 300-400 participants to see how much time and effort it costs. Even if the GB host don't ship on his own he needs to do lists, PMs, e-Mails, coordinate everything. In some cases they do advanced payment for multiple copies you could end up with without payment. For me that deserves a Tip. Like I give the waitress a Tip for serving me. It's a way to say thank you and the amount of tip is nothing compared to the time and effort he needs to bring up to.

And when we talk about tips: Here's a GB Host, I don't say his name, I received a damaged Steelbook from. In this case a damaged Lenticular and Full Slip. It was not his fault, it was the fault from the company. I contacted the company and they did nothing about it. What did the GB Host? Sent me a full refund via Paypal. I rejected it thankfully since it was not his fault and I didn't want his own money/tips but this is also something they got to deal with.

So its a totally different situation when you go on eBay and let's say sell a Filmarena for 300 % profit without doing nothing for it besides ordering 2x. How dare you comparing this?! So disrespectful. At least you should stop participating in GBs when this is your honest opinion.

Dude, I wasn't disrespectfully comparing them... I was summarising what @SuPaFlY basically was trying to say. And it's a fact of life. We can't help but hate anybody in this world that know the secrets of making a quick buck. But yet if that said person breaks down how he is earning his keep we will praise them.

And @Aniv knows I wasn't taking a dig at him ... you seem to be the only one truly upset by my comment.

With all respect John, that was not his point. He compared GB hosts with people who buying multiple copies and flipping them for 300 % profit and why we glorrify GB Hosts but hate scalpers since it is the same for him.

Hosting a GB is a service. For every service in the world you need to pay. So what's the point here when work is done, 300 people getting a copy and some tip the host some bucks for it? Is this the same like when I buy every release 2x for 30 a pop and sell it for 100 on eBay?! This works only because the people who wanted to be a part of the GB miss out because of that and then are forced to pay eBay prices. And this is not the value of the collector item, this is take adventage of the Situation.

And which GB Host on HDN is doing this, buying bulk and selling it with profit? I understand what your point is but I can't see someone like this at the moment doing GBs on HDN. And he was not pointing out a general problem. He went in @Aniv thread to say this.

And to end this, which company in the world cares more for the customer than for the money? It is all about the money in the end.

We root those ones out of HDN ... They are elsewhere running games.

And no offense taken , we just having a healthy meaty discussion. What forums should be for. :) And I didnt read back to the prior page, just the one post.

I am sorry if this was asked before but I am confused about the Lenti Slip

Does the ''Lenticular Slip'' = ''Side Lenti Slip'' like ''Blufans GOTG'' style ?
OR
Like a ''Nova Lenticular'' like Nightcrawler that slides in from TOP ?

@Aniv or Anyone who knows the answer ?

highly suspect like Nova ... tho not entirely sure.

nm, see krypto answered.

Not a fan of O Ring slips like Nova tbh ... prefer Blufans lenti slips. Even FAC did it with Birdman which was awesome. And HDZeta are doing it now too.

I'm more excited about the fullslip. Dying to see what the finish will be like in hand. Need some DSLR pbtour and moon pics of it.

The facility of a GB is a valuable resource to a collector, always will be.

Little profit will be made from it, unless order numbers are high, much like the fees/donations on this particular group buy.

Pretty easy to work out when you calculate the retail cost per item, shipping direct from retailer and PayPal fees.

This is a direct to customer shipping method Group Buy - for these, I personally don't tip if I have paid fees already.

It's like tipping at a McDonald's Drive Thru.

Now on the other side of the coin, a group buy where the stock is sent to a HUB and customs paid, I will pay fees, customs percentage AND tip the host.

But hey, that is just my opinion, so please don't shoot me down over it.

Others have Aired their opinions and I doubt mine will hurt anyone.

In a nutshell, options, often cheapest to most expensive (for the most part) are:

1) Retailer
2) Group Buy
3) EBay.

Whatever forum I choose for your GB, all I expect is transparency in terms of fees incurred for the GB service - with no hidden costs at a later point.

However, if I trust the supplier/Retailer/HUB/forum I will take a leap of faith. Which I have done on this.

"Scalpers" are all over. That will never change, on this forum or the next - it's whether you are willing to pay that matters. No sale, no scalpers. Same goes for duplicate accounts. Will always happen when GREED is involved.

Not sure where they have gone to play games, but I know a few places for sure where this is not welcome - but good to see HDN feel the same too.

I've always said, if we can all secure our copies using either the Retailer HDN, or any other forum then thats all that matters in the long term.

I truly hope Manta Lab all the success with this release. It looks fantastic.

I clicked on the link in the OP Group Buy which brings you directly to the ebay DVDs of this release and all the pictures used on the DVD releases are all the same ones as we see on each editions and the steel of this current new release.

I am not trying to be negative, but to see all those pictures that are all same as the DVD ones. It kinda removes the feeling of the thrill for this new Package :blackeye: I know DVD pictures are not the same as a nice Fullslip with a new steel, but since they are the same pictures I just don't know what to do now...I guess its all about the finish :dunno:(n)

Well written, well reasoned. Too much discussion here consists of people flailing around in the dark. We need more of this.

Likewise Buddy - not the thread to chat I guess, but hope your well - I'm only ever a PM away - and stop looking at eBay! :hilarious:

lol I thought that the link in OP would bring me to this thread(as they usually do) instead of bringing me to the ebay DVD releases  I was brought there against my will :hilarious: ...but discovered all those pictures there, naughty pictures :wow: ...I'll keep in mind for the PM

Thing is sometimes when stright talking no flapping around posts are used they are are ether brushed aside , modified or delited for me with no just cause .

That is why members now think before they post .

Manta lab doing this stunning realise brings this conversation to the fore then bring it on .
