An excellent movie, that is full of hope. The director subconsciously created something he spoke out against.
I love how the regular people in the film realized they were being lied to and manipulated, and even paid gang organizations didn't help.
Love Aubrey Plaza's, Shia LaBeouf's and Jon Voight's characters, the visuals, the New Rome allegories, the sound design - for which it wasn't nominated of course - and everything else in it.
Have the French steelbook on preorder since November 4th.

Nah, you weren't. Nothing to do with the film.

Love him or hate him.. trump is the right choice to get America and Americans back on track. It was an easy choice.

No need to bring in politics into a boring old steelbook thread mate. Open a thread elsewhere if you want to talk about it with Lenny. Just trying to keep sh*t on topic. Politics is way too inflammatory.
:D

Did this film even break even? Anyone watch it all the way through? I gave up after an hour. The dialogue was pretty bad. Some interesting set and production design in there though. I might try and force a rewatch at some point.

I was replying to Lenny about the kind of movie megalopolis is trying to portray. If you don’t like it scroll past it..
I agree with you politically, but honestly, let's not talk about this b.s. here - I'm already tired of these morons on reddit trying to politicize our hobby and pushing the mods of blu-ray reddit forums to ban links to X with their activist nonsense. I just want to talk about blu-rays man

Political talk isn't allowed here. Fed up having to remind certain folks tbh... no more chances!

Is this so bad it's good or worth getting for visuals/world building?
It's not a 'so bad it's good' kind of film. It's just strange. I think everyone should watch it mostly because there's nothing else quite like it. It's not really good, but I found it very interesting when it wasn't being completely baffling. I'd watch it before spending £30 on it though

Thanks. Guess that is the only way to know in truth.
