My eyes are fine. Top colour doesn't match the bottom, whatever way you want to justify it.

One is a photo the other is a graphic mockup...apples and oranges.

Compare the background to the colour of this post (the forums general colour). Now is it closer to that, or to white? Because that's grey

I actually don't mind silver steelbooks...I do agree they're way too commonplace now but I don't mind them every now and then. Saying that, I've had several silver steelbooks just from this year - Pines, Seven Samurai...

Anyway, at the end of the day it's the design. If you don't like the design, don't buy it.

As much as I think these would have looked gorgeous with full color illustrations covering the entire thing, seeing them together they look really nice. Loving the consistency of their designs... I may be tempted here.

My copy of Nausicaa arrived today, and just opened the box.

Bearing in mind I'm looking at it under electric light, the silver appears to have a slight gold cast to it - and the finish itself is not plain, but a sort of brushed aluminium effect.

Overall very pleasing to my eyes.

Wow. The inside are on these are some of the most vivid and bright ive yet seen. Dammit why are they so expensive? Id bite on all 4 at 15 each.

I too am impressed by the insides. Miyazaki films have always had some vivid and incredible imagery.

looks like they used a more crystal clear plastic than usual for the inside which helps the artwork pop even more.

I'm almost 100% sure they are B-C locked because Disney has the US distribution rights for these titles.
