According to this article, Wal-Mart is going with this new law aggresively requiring Games and DVDs (Blu's too) to cut down on weight. With that in mind, I doubt we'll ever see Blu-ray SteelBooks in Wal-Mart ,if so, not legally.

They are trying to get this to become a new standard competely.

It sucks for US, the consumers as its hard to meet that requirement andw e will lose all kinds of extras even with regular Blu's ... if too heavy.

Hell, the regular DVDs are going to a new case call NexPak ... and those things arent very heavy, so no telling whats in store.

Well eco-friendly solutions are all the rage these days...maybe a chance for Best Buy to get the Steelbook business in the US or maybe Amazon?

Someone asked about this when the Res Evil's hit Walmart USA,so I am bumping for historical purposes. I hope we see more Steels from WM-it's nice to be able to just go to a local store and get a fix:)

Bluray-was that a slip, and you meant to say "DB":) LOL if it was, it's cool, I do it myself-must be a Freudian slip, considering where we're all posting:)
