Can't f*ing wait for this

Hmm. I'm interested. Like PTA a lot. Really enjoyed every one of his films.
But.
Leo...hmm, he's starting to give me the ick. That icky sticky feeling whenever I watch him. I dunno. He just gives off this vibe on screen that makes me want to kick his fu*king face in.
Do you ever get that? That odd vibe. You'd keep him away from your daughters...obviously, goes without saying but still, it's more than that. The whole persona is weird; it's off somehow. I don't dispute he's a great actor, that's not where I'm getting at. Its more his energy is off somehow.
I watch him and get a weird Fight or flight response.
Is he a freaking Lizard person or something? Like full on alien in disguise?
He creeps me the *** out. I'm not sure why.

Yeah I kinda get it. Especially since surprisingly many women seem be turned off by him somehow, must be some kind of creeper radar. And maybe that got even more pronounced because he's mostly been playing socio- or psychopaths after Gangs of New York and his dating preference may also creep some people out. Who knows. I've only seen the guy on screen so I have no idea how he comes across in person.

I just love him as an actor and honestly thing he's one of the most underrated (yes) comedic geniuses of our time. The guy might be a vain and narcissistic douche bag in real life (who isn't in Hollywood), but the combo of his good looks and his presumed life style don't exactly scream comedy, but he's just a natural talent for that kinda stuff and his insane acting chops really lend themselved to that. The Wolf of Wall Street and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood really showed that. And this film seems to be a similar vibe what his character is concerend. 'Tragically funny' is not something I ever expected to get from DiCaprio, especially not multiple times, but he's just brilliant at it in my opinion.

Yeah well up for this. That last scene was brilliant

I just read that according to some test screening audience members this film is apparently very political, being a loose adaptation of the book Vineland interlaced with modern politics. I really hope that's not true, I can't stand any more political b.s. in hollywood films, especially not if it's partisan and not intellectually reflected. I somehow can't see PTA making something that is purposefully only appeasing to one side of the political isle, and I was really hoping hollywood would be over that particular trend. But we'll see, didn't think I'd have to go into a PTA film expecting to potentially be rolling my eyes.
