Sorry to bump this but I received a reply from capelight asking why they hadn’t shipped this or Maxxxine, both paid for the day they were announced. This was their response.

“Attention: No partial delivery when ordering! This product will be released on 14 August 2025.

I’m assuming they’re saying neither of them will be shipped until 14th August given Over the Top releases then and they wont ship the two orders separately. With that said, I’ve seen a fair few people have already received Over the Top so I’m assuming this is wrong? Weird.

That's correct, the UK release of Over the top isn't till August but the German release is what people have been receiving.

Reason being, Capelight have exclusivity for certain titles for 1 month before it's available elsewhere.
Same happened with Thelma & Louise, May release on Capelight and July on Amazon DE
Also happened previously with Ronin

No, no, it implies you ordered the UK edition, so they're delaying your order till the UK release date. If you ordered the German edition then they should have shipped it already.

I ordered UK Over the top and Thelma, but because of the 1 shipping rule, I have to wait until August for a title released 3 months prior

Ah, that’s good news to me then! I assumed capelight only sold the German edition when I purchased. I’d prefer the UK one though anyway. Thanks for clearing that up.

The only difference between the two literally is the J-Card.
I asked the Q to Capelight back in April and they confirmed steelbook and discs are identical, only quarterslip differs

No point over thinking it, I assume you just ordered Over the top from the UK releases section or clicked on one of the UK editions in the search results.

Automating which editions are picked is unlikely as that would cause a whole host of problems with people getting the wrong ones.
