I've sought mod approval (thanks AcIdC0R3) to start this thread as a few members ordered this (including me) and thought it would be better having it's own thread to discuss, even though each steelbook has been individually released and each title has it's own thread.

Was in total for all 5 at the time.

With it being Amazon Japan, there's always a chance of this coming back into stock.

Also comes with Michael Jackson: The Life Of An Icon Collector's Edition Blu Ray (not a steelbook).

The UK release has a nice slip cover too as it is pretty thick and not flimsy like the Warner / Sony Steels. Also the UK release features both cuts of the movie.

Chip , you missed out as there was No Bag Limit on these ~ you could have bought all 500 Sets there are allready 3rd party sellers on Amazon Japan selling for $200

Deal of the Century I rekon , even just for the Back to Future Set alone is worth more than $50 sweats and Free Postage from Amazon Japan

This isn't Korea mate. This was available for a good few days. Reckon 1000 at the very least, if not more. Orders must have been piling in for these.

Was a remarkable deal given the price and the shipping costs were counted as 1 for each set.

Yep. Definitely deal of the century. Never placed an order with Amazon Japan before (shipping/customs/packaging), but couldn't refuse these.

Cancelled mine as well, can't stand G1 steels, already have the German Paul (worth f**k all but looks the same anyway) and actually think these BTTF steels look strange... great deal of course - just not for everybody!!

when PAUL - jp peaked about 4 months ago it was only hiting $150.oo ~ it was never "really RARE" and TBH: it cost about $65 landed any how !~!

Even the last few I saw sell Via Ebay have still pumped $80 outta people , so thats still a nice money maker , but wait untill 2 weeks time & they will be all over Evil Bay & the lijkes for $50 a pop
