First I expected they will use something different, but Im actually pretty okay with this original artwork, its a classic and its nice it will come with a classic poster art. Now Im thinking about the slips already

This reminds me of the old VHS I used to have of this film. The audio quality was terrible and the film would constantly tear. I don’t need any more reminders of the dark age of home media.

Finally my favourite art for the film is being used, only took them like 5 or so attempts to get it right.
Oh well there goes more of my cash on this series, I know they will knock it out of the park so easy purchase for me.

I'm as relieved as everyone else that we're getting a version with decent art. It'll need the old gloss 'n emboss treatment to make it a truly good steel though.

Actually, this (BB release of a film before FAC release of the same film) has happened only once before, with The Wolverine. Four months between those two releases.

Obviously it's all very subjective, but I always thought that the BB release of The Wolverine was nicer than the FAC release; BB had the 3D disc included and more interesting slip cover

FAC are going to get me like they did with Jurassic Park and Hellboy - i have this already, but yes, i'd love a premium edition. after all, i have so much spare room already!

Thanks Mickle! I didn't even know there were 4 predator films!! Must look into that 4th one. Probably not good I guess.
This steelbook looks a step ahead of the pink and green one.

there aren't yet - the 4th film, directed by Rick Hawkins himself, Shane Black, comes out in a few weeks.
