In the Heat of the Night Ultra blu-ray 1st September 1967.

This is the brand new kino 4k pressing and is simply jaw dropping. It's corrects all previous problems.
including registration and colour timing. The 4k is stunning.
What's there to say about this iconic film that hasn't already been said. Two actors at the height of their powers
and a superb screenplay from Stlrling Silliphant easy the best screenwriter hollywood ever produced.
And as a bonus the package contains the two sequels to In the Heat of the Night.

I like the most canadian movies and no exception here - very disturbing thriller, that is grinding the backwood-creature feature border and also is a kind of view into the life of the last real hunters, that built their life and income on the fundament of the hunting profession and get in the twist with the forward moving society, where the possibility to afford that lifestyle decreases more and more and additionally misleaded wolfs threat their life in the wilderness. The added survival-part makes this movie (that probably plays in the early 80s) an intelligent genre-mix and really got me banned.

@Savage Clown all of the war films
Quite a few, I guess I get the war junkie in me from my dad when he was still around. I bought the Best Buy steelbook of 1917 so me and my dad could watch it together, sadly he passed away shortly before it came out and I never could bring myself to watch it after that. I do love a good war flick though. :)
