Today Regal Robot is debuting two great new decor pieces with a Darth Vader twist, just in time for Father’s Day! Full galleries and order pages for each can be found on their Star Wars Art & Decor page.

Their latest wood art plaque debuts today with art from the Revenge of the Jedi advance teaser poster. A working title for Star Wars: Return of the Jedi™, for many fans in 1982 (Regal’s company founder, Tom Spina, was among them!) this teaser on the walls of their local theaters was the first glimpse into the finale of the original Star Wars™ trilogy. This is a 16″ tall plaque with striking, classic art features the silhouette of Luke Skywalker™ and Darth Vader’s™ climactic lightsaber™ battle over a menacing closeup of the visage of the Dark Lord of the Sith™.

Next up is the final magnetic mini sculpture in the first wave of their SEPARATION COLLECTION. Based on Darth Vader’s Hand from Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, straight out of the climactic moments of the original trilogy.

Both of these great new items are designed, prototyped and produced in the USA and IN-STOCK and ready to ship so you can add them to your collection, home, office, man-cave or fridge! You can even get discounted shipping when ordering multiple magnets or multiple wood art plaques together, so grab the latest release and add on one of their other many designs to take advantage of that! See the whole collection on their Star Wars Decor page!

Today Regal Robot’s debuting two great new decor pieces based on a wonderful, yet obscure bit of set dressing from Star Wars: Return of the Jedi™ that definitely pushes into the stealth-geek territory where the company so often can be found creating!

Tucked away in the ornate detailing of Jabba the Hutt’s™ Sail Barge, the Khetanna™ is a fantastic tribute to the Rancor™. Barely seen in the final film, Regal draws inspiration from that on-set adornment with a pair of new decor creations, each made using high-resolution 3D scanning of the original artifact, which still exists in the prop archives!

A 5″ tall Rancor Corbel Magnet joins their “Parts of the Galaxy Collection.” Made from solid resin and hand-finished in their New York studios, these magnets feature a faux bronze look with hand-applied patina to accent the wild, organic sculpture.

The larger, 18″ tall Rancor Corbel Wall Decor is hollow-cast in thick polyurethane resin. Each sculpture is hand-finished in faux bronze and also features that hand-applied patina to make each a unique work of art.

They’re both 100% made-in-the-U.S.A. and come ready to display.

Fans who stopped by the Regal Robot booth at Star Wars Celebration got a sneak peek at both of these items. Now you can bring them home! Full galleries for each can be found on their Star Wars Art & Decor page ( Star Wars – Art, Sculpture & Decor – Regal Robot ), where you can order these new Rancor-themed pieces and their whole decor collection!

In preparing for our Weequay maquette replica, I was very lucky to have a GREAT zoom conversation with Ken Ralston, which we recorded to share with fans.

Today we’re debuting two great new decor pieces that pay homage to some of the earliest logos for the original film, 1977’s Star Wars: A New Hope™. Developed with original Lucasfilm image assets, the unique triangular and domed wall hanging plaques will instantly transport you to the early days of production on a classic film.

The iconic triangular Star Wars artwork features a lone heroic figure standing before a fiery red planet with lightsaber raised and a brilliant star burning above. The iconic image was originally made in mid-1975, turning up on production film cans, scripts and stationary. The public would get their first glimpse of it on the famous early yellow promotional t-shirts at science-fiction conventions in 1976.

The classic domed artwork is also based on an early logo design for the original film. The plaque features a pair of heroic figures, one with lightsaber drawn, standing before a desert planet and a space station.

Both plaques features 2D printed art and, like the other plaques in this line, ship ready to hang! Made in the U.S.A., they’re a great way to bring a bit of the Star Wars galaxy to your fan cave, kitchen, desert palace or office!

Order these great new IN-STOCK decor items and pair them with our other vintage art inspired plaques (each sold separately). Get discounted shipping when you order more than one Wood Art Plaque! See the rest of the collection on our Star Wars Decor page!

We’ve been working for a long time now on the first licensed prop replicas ever made of the Gaffi sticks!

This Wednesday we’re releasing two editions, both part of our Archive Collection with incredible lineage to the original prop artifacts.

The Mandalorian™ Tusken Raider™ Gaffi Stick™ Prop Replica
This 1:1 prop replica is based on the unique Tusken Raider™ Gaffi Sticks™ primarily seen in The Mandalorian™. Also called a Gaferffii™, this limited, numbered edition is part of our Star Wars™ Archive Collection, a continuation and expansion of our work creating authentic replicas with impeccable lineage.

The faux wood section of this gaffi stick (based on a Fijian “totokia” club) was mastered directly from the same molds as the props in the series. For this edition, we’ve also recreated the faux-metal spike end (originally provided by the production). The solid-resin prop replicas are made in the U.S.A. and are authentic recreations of the props wielded by the Tusken Raiders in Seasons 1 and 2 of The Mandalorian.

The polyurethane resin props are all painted and hand-stained with a hint of woodgrain and a multi-layered faux metal spike. An elegant black wood stand supports the heavy prop for table-top display.

Each of the 150 pieces in this limited edition will be made and hand finished in the U.S.A.

Read more about the creation of this replica in the “Recreating an Artifact” section below!

Hero Gaffi Stick™ Prop Replica – Signature Edition
This 1:1 prop replica is based on the hero-style Tusken Raider™ Gaffi Stick™ seen in Star Wars: A New Hope™. Also called a Gaferffii™, this signature edition is part of our Star Wars™ Archive Collection, a continuation and expansion of our work creating authentic replicas with impeccable lineage.

With hands-on access to the original film prop artifacts and high resolution 3D scanning, our team crafted a faithful recreation of the original props from the film, capturing the unique asymmetry, hand-carved look and intentionally crude welding.

With masters created using that technology, our team solid-cast heavy polyurethane resin for the “wood” portion of the Gaderffii club, just like the original props. That section is painted and hand stained with a hint of woodgrain. The metal tube and fins are welded steel with a cast metal spike and layers of hand aging and distressing.

An elegant black wood stand supports the prop for table-top display. This special signature edition also includes a plaque hand-signed by Roger Christian, who built the prop for the 1977 film.

Each of the 150 pieces in this limited, signature edition will be made and hand finished in the U.S.A.

Read more about the creation of this replica in the “Recreating an Artifact” section below!

Though only shown in the shadows in the show, this new mini-sculpture showcases all of the monsterous details of this mythical creature.

Also released today is Bo-Katan’s Signet as a magnet. She encountered the Mythosaur within the Living Waters of Mandalore during the rescue mission where she earned her signet.
