Just a wee update, so I contacted manta/collectong about the damage on my slip due to the plastic sleeve sticking to the box and removing a good portion of the gloss IMO and they've responded promptley saying they'll send a replacement slip, what absolute legends.
This is my first time having to contact manta about an issue with a slip and they haven't dissapointed.
I'm over the moon to say the least.
I'll post a pic or two here just to give you guys a heads up and to be careful with the plastic sleeve. I think in future I'm just gonna cut off the adhesive part just to be extra safe.

I'm speaking in general, if you compare this full slip to what EverythingBlu offered it's much less good

If you're speaking in general then the slips from EverythingBlu are no where near the level of Manta Lab

I'm also a believer that if you haven't got anything nice to say then say nothing as opposed to ******** on someone's new purchase that they're presumably happy with

I for one think that Full Slip is gorgeous and I'm a lenti guy, moreover; I love the raised embossing on the names, the subtle cardboard texture and the gloss characters front and back.
Absolute beauty and definitely something different.

Regarding the lip sticking to the slip and lifting the layer of gloss, I am afraid the same happened to me with the Batman Begins full slip. I won't ask them for a replacement though, because it was the replacement I had received. Too embarrassing to ask again and it was my fault.

Still haven't got a shipping notification for my DLFS. Manta/Collectong really need to get better when it comes to release their stuff close(r) to the given date.

Mine still hasn't shipped either. Assumed it was because they're shipping my replacement Wonka slip with it but clearly they're just being all @tha_lunatic (sloth like slow) with this one

DL arrived this morning. Near pure white all round. No issues with ghosting or clarity, considering the quality of the images themselves. Nothing particularly remarkable, but best of the 3 slips imo. Love the steel. Wish the blu-ray was mustard yellow to match, instead of green, but that's my only complaint really.

Not impressed with the photos of the FS and SL that have been shown so far, so it all relies on the DL now (the one I ordered). Steel looks decent though, if a little dark.

Arrived about an hour ago. Like @TheWildEye I normally go for lenticular but went with the full slip on this release I actually really love how it turned out. Really nice in hand. Would like to see some photos of the DL and how the one click looks

I think we just need to accept the slips aren’t great on this one. Fair enough. Saying that I think SL looks the best of a bad bunch. At least with that you get best of both worlds with a lenti and full slip finish on the back

I'm not sure why you're quoting me there, but ETB haven't got anything to do with this. They've never released a RD slip, so there isn't a comparison to be made. That was why I thought it was random for you to bring them up.

It's all well and good saying you like their slip quality, but most of their AI mishmash art choices are questionable at best, so it could look ridiculous haha you can only polish a so far.

If you wanted to compare this release to Nova's, that's fair game. I have both, and while these aren't exactly extraordinary, the DL is better in hand than Nova's white FS imo.

You can say you think EverythingBlu make better slips in general and open that discussion up and have people argue that point but that's completely different to commenting on someone's brand new purchase saying you don't like it

I wasn't a massive fan of all the artwork choices from the beauty shots but I think the slips look a lot better than I was expecting, given the art
