Cex still has the standard Arrow steelbook for £22, only difference from memory is a different serial on the spine.

Arrow steels.
Art is the identical.

I have the original blu ray one.

Except a few small differences...
Blu ray title logo on the original steel spine and none on the 4k steel spine.
Robocop and car are matte, rest is glossy on blu ray steel.
Robocop and car are gloss, rest is matte on the 4k steel.

It it might be the other way around, I can't be sure without dragging out the steelbook.

I'm curious to see if there are also metallic effects in Robocop's armor and what the back looks like. The artwork remains boring, but at least the embossing is convincing. But what's really annoying is the title design. A modernized version of the original totle design like on this poster would have been better.

Speaking of the great poster artwork, Capelight was asked on Facebook if a Steelbook will be released with it. Capelight replied that nothing is currently planned, but nothing should be excluded.

The Steelbook from Arrow Video is already very nice, but Capelight could top it with an embossing. I imagine an embossed border, title and robocop with the car door. Like Arrow video robocop and the car with partial UV varnish and the metallic effects of a Steelbook.

*it's too bad we cannot (in the U.S.) order this from JPC.de. Apparently, when the rating is 18 -there is some rule about not shipping to other countries. (No problems ordering from JPC with movies with a 16 rating). Too bad since their shipping is €3.88 versus €12.99 from Capelight.

I did treat myself to an ED-209 plush (from Robocop 2, ‘he’ has ‘ears’) for Christmas…

Received both the steelbook and the mediabook today. I am usually not much into nediabooks, but this one is a beauty on both sides. Gloss in some parte, matte in others, soft touch-like, vibrant colors... wowww
