Didn't go thru the mayhem for The Pianist but curious to know how slow the server was during the pre ordering process?

Not too concerned about the lenticular selling out fast but the full slip should be gone between 30mins-1hr. Being optimistic I guess...

The Pianist wasn't bad at all, but this will be a different story. :ohno:

That is very optimistic. I'd be surprised if the full slip lasts that long, but we'll see.

Well the way I see it if the server slows down considerably. I think I can get my order in maybe at 10mins+ after it goes live. Thor I got in 8mins+ and Frozen I couldn't check out at around 15mins+. So I'm thinking Rush would fall between the two. Frozen was just on a different level....everybody wanted it...not just collectors.

Have you seen Plain Arcvhive's sliboxes?
Generic is not the word I'd use to describe them...

only the wrestler and it looked poor imo as the colors were terrible.. the idea behind it was good, but it still didnt work out for me..

but even if it worked out here, i dont like the artwork :/

oh, i also have "the grey" plain archive and dont like it that much either

I say Toni and kimchidvd should go ahead and accept more orders than they are required to sell online since they will have access to the local stock. If they go over by a few hundred, I don't see why they can't access that amount locally.

What I would do if I was in charge at zavvi, would be to do a 30min sale at 12pm just as this went live. Competition is what its all about and what better way to compete for collectors money than with their credit cards at the ready!?
