So tired of the useless Kimchi servers. Half an hour of time wasted and nothing to show for it... It's **** like this that make me think it's time to sell up my steels and do something worthwhile.
Won't even bother with further kimchi releases. They obviously don't need my money as everything sells so fast and I certainly don't need the hassle.

Damn internet... My data on my phone kept loading and loading so i finally go to place order and realize its the lenti, so backed out to find the full slip is OOS :(

Oh well, Kimchi will re-list cancelations i guess at some point ;)

It is fair to say that Kimchidvd needs to have there server upgraded, and i understand where all the frustration toward the site is, but I also believe that an important factor that some may have been over looked is that your personal internet speed wasn't upto scatch, so with the combination of server performance and home internet speed would have given you a harder chance of getting one. (in my opinion)

I honestly don't think the scalpers got that many. Max order for the full slip was 2 per account and, with the checkout process taking so long (and the site crashing a lot) I doubt many people would have time to focus on multiple accounts. So unless they have a posse of people all checking out a once it would make no difference and, in that scenario, they would only have the same chance as everyone else of getting one.

Plus, I don't think the lenticular is a bad second choice. It's the copy I'm looking forward to the most.

Let me rephrase then....whoever got through, don't know how they did as I had a perfectly good connection and laptop this time, and had no issues like address set up, paypal, etc....just cannot understand how 700 copies can go through when I was trying to add one to my cart from the instant it went live...

No doubt there was some serious underestimation on Kimchi and Tony's part, but wonder what they could have done even if they knew considering the infrastructure they have....

Wow, people must love Rush. I know I did. Haha
Kind of surprised the lenticular sold out so fast too, glad I did not hesitate to pull the trigger. I kind of wish people would show The Wrestler some more love now though as that is also a mighty fine film and designed by Plain Archive too. :)

Only managed to get 1 lenticular showing "receipt of order" it froze after "payment processing... please wait"

Is it ok I can't recall?

PS They really need to prioritze upgrading the servers FIRST before increasing these high demand releases

as much as I love their SteelBooks I already regret having ordered some other than SteelBooks from their site.. a retailer with that kind of web performance is a joke...
first it won´t load.. after it all crashed... when it loads you can´t add stuff to cart and when you finally finally have items in your cart it crashed again and when it´s loading again your cart is EMPTY..
I did NOT get the full slip .. AGAIN loosing out....
and this is thme having improved their website.. sorry.. but I couldn´t imagine it being any worse at all..

is there a group buy for it..?
ir has choi set some aside for the desperate people of this forum who are continously loosing out due to their performance issues....
I really only wanted the full slip :tear::tear:

I hear you. I got through on my work PC which is, to put it mildly, a piece of crap. So it was probably the luck of the draw. They are working on upgrading the servers (I know it doesn't help you now) so hopefully that will be sooner rather than later.

My other post got lost in the crush - so here it is again to help you guys out:

For those who think they've paid but may have issues here is what to do. First check your Kimchi account - if your order is there then you are fine. You may not always get an email confirmation.

If your payment went through it will say "Payment Completed" next to your order. If that is the case you are good to go - go about your day.

If it says "Receipt of Order" instead then your payment has probably gone through fine but needs to be tallied with your order. Tony normally does this shortly after the carnage has died down so leave it a couple of hours and check back. If it is still showing that, then check your credit card/paypal account for the payment. If it is showing there then send an email to:

[email protected]

Stating your order number and that you have paid, what method you paid by and that you have confirmation. He will then manually update your order. If your payment DIDN'T go through then he can tell you how to resubmit it - as long as your order is showing in your account you should be fine.

So no need to stress and I hope everyone got what they wanted.

Kimchi...

I praise you for always selling out releases very fast, hence this release sold out in 30 minutes for all 3 versions.

Chapeau! Truly outstanding and one thing to be proud of.

But, i am pissed as hell and would really like to inform you that a server upgrade including a UI overhaul is essential for growth and user experience. If that is not possible within a certain timeframe, at least make a Groupbuy possible for the upcoming releases.

And most certainly for DRIVE. You have my full support, but this release which i badly wanted, i had it 3x in my cart and your site failed, leaving me empty handed.

I missed out, and would definitely not want TO MISS OUT ON DRIVE.

Please, think about a expanding strategy and some quick wins for the user. It will be a win-win situation for both sides.

Im gonna drink my frustation away, not getting the full slip.

This is what I presumed, as it appears my payment has not gone through. Decided to use my card instead of paypal for a change... stupid idea.

i sent payment through credit card for lenti but it was Receipt of Payment and CASH? anybody with that problem? wow! this certainly didn't last very long...RUSH!!!!
