As this was designed in partnership with Plain Archive, Kimchi should have taken advantage of PA's robust servers and sold it through their website. That would have made this a better purchasing experience all around. I really hope Kimchi learns from all this, and doesn't keep repeating the same mistakes on future releases.

P.S. Kimchi could have also released this in small quantities i.e. 250 copies during four different times. That would have decreased the server load somewhat.

Oh, I forgot, aren't there still a bunch leftover for those in Korea?

Package detail

- 1/4 slip edition (non-exclusive)-500 per Facebook

1/4 Slip is already OOS on to Local sites...

Wow! It's already sold out in two big online shop(YES24, Aladin) of Korea.
It's really crazy!!

I said all along this would fly out! And it did....There was a serious underestimation of how popular this title is and the fact that the full slip is indeed very special.

Sorry for those that missed out. :ohno:

But over the moon I managed to get 1 copy of the Full Slip. Which I have been drooling over all along....:scat:

Things need to change though for Drive & IM, as thats going to be 10 times worse I think.....;)

I was out, Friday night streets filled with people, and using Vodafone's shoddy 3G network. Managed to add full slip to cart. Manage to get to checkout. Checkout times out three times. In the end, no dice.

Hate to say it, but the scalpers have won this round.

Am I grateful that I managed to buy one copy of the lenti?

Am I happy that the full slip sold out while I was in the middle of trying to buy it?
NO!!!

Well I guess i'll just have to play the waiting game.
I have 1 x Full slip and 1 x Lenti showing up as Receipt of Order...

If my fellow Ninja friend was also able to secure copies of both, and I was successful too then I will have these available for trade - I will let you guys know when I know for definite what the hell happened! So much confusion and uncertainty...

This could be doubtful but I really hope PA lists "some/if not all" the remaining quantities on their website... I desperately need that 1/4 Slip and Full Slip variants :(

Don't understand why, with packaging and a steel that in my opinion blows Kimchi out of the water, that they haven't sold out. Mind Boggling...

+Mickey Rourke! Agreed, it's a mystery!

I understand everyone is running on adrenaline right now.

If your payment went through it will say "Payment Completed" next to your order. If that is the case you are good to go - go about your day.

Wow, never would of thought I'd get an adrenaline rush on ordering a Steelbook...I feel so good right now that I got my order in. Plus I snagged Raiders & Doom all in the same 10mins! Cloud 9!

I feel bad for the ninjas who missed out. I would be very upset. I remember how I felt on Thor 2 and Frozen. I wasn't happy. I've been there. Glad I had Luck of the draw on this occasion. It sold out way too fast...

I'm glad I didn't underestimate the popularity of this movie as well as the Lenti version!

Me too!

If they'd released it in small quantities at four times then their server would have gotten crushed at four different times as opposed to one - it wouldn't have really helped. Likewise they are trying to drum up business for their own site so using another would be problematic - all the payments would go to PA then have to be transferred to Kimchi, all the orders would be on the PA system and need transferring to Kimchi. It would make a lot more work.

They have said they are upgrading the servers and that is the only real solution, so fingers crossed that goes ahead ASAP.
