I understand that with better servers this would have gone even quicker, but my main problem is that when you're lucky enough to got the items in your cart you shouldn't have to experience that when the site finally loads to the last step the items have been sold out and "taken" from your cart. At least keep the items saved in the cart for 10-15 minutes.

That's mighty frustrating.

I had one of each version, got to the next step, filled out my tlf number and had only the paypal button left and boom "cart error"

I got the lenticular, so I'll guess I'm more lucky than others and I feel for them, but I'm a completist and when I go for an edition I want them all. I was not bying to sell them on.

This is simply not good enough imo and if this happens to me with Drive I don't know what I'll do! :p
 
I went through the process of adding the 3 releases to my cart, getting through to click the paypal button only for them to have disappeared out of my cart, 3 times.

4th time was a charm though, and I got 1 each of the 3.

Agree that if you put something in your cart, you should have that for 15 minutes. If you haven't checked out by then, then they can be released back into the pot.
 
Got all 3 in cart tried to check out once paged finally loaded 1/4 and full slip had sold out, to top this off it took another 10 mins to remove sold out items from cart so I could checkout with leni.

The sooner Tony sets up some kind of premium membership which Choi mentioned here the better. My heart can't take anymore of these pre-orders. I've been in for every release so far but this is the second time I've missed out now due to their hopeless website. :angry:

I still wonder if orders sitting there as "Receipt of Order" are items that have been taken out of the sale queue and when they get sorted will be put back into that queue

I do agree with you in principle and new servers would help greatly in completing the order process smoothly, but even with the servers the way they are the full slip was gone in less than ten minutes.

With a smooth and quick ordering process, getting a release may come down to the moment you hit F5 as the same number of people would still be there trying to get it so that extra 1/4 of a second could make all the difference.

Not poking to start anything, and I agree that they need better servers, but IMO that would just have the pain over quicker and not necessarily increase the chances of getting what you want.

Point taken and I understand that they would probably go twice as fast, and I have zero problem with that. It's all fair game and I'd rather have to be quick on my toes while hoping I was faster than the next guy than sit here cussing their servers because I'm facing a never ending white screen while the page tries to load.

The GB for Frozen on the other site was a pure rush and it was sold out in less than a minute, but it was pleasurable because the site had zero lag. It all came down to who was quicker on the draw and that's how it should be. :)

I agree with that for sure and no lag would be nice, although I do kinda like the long and drawn out extended adrenaline high :D

That's what concerns me at the moment. Especially since I buckled and went with Wire Transfer cause I couldn't find the submit button for the credit card. If I had gone back and refreshed payment I'm pretty sure it would've shut me out on the full slip.

If you have paid I would not worry about it. Tony posted a bit ago to say that orders will be checked against payments and all will be sorted.

I had 1 of each in my cart within 30 secs but the 'order now' button wouldn't load on the checkout page. Of course by the time it finally loaded and I could check out the cart had been emptied. Kimchi's server is a bit like HAL from 2001 - you think it's working for you but really it's hell bent on sabotaging you at every step!

Thanks....feel a bit easier but never went thru Wire Transfer so not sure how that works. I have the cash is just how the payment goes thru or not is the concern. I've already emailed him about the situation.
