I guess you can't. Send tony an email at [email protected] and explain the issue. I am sure it will get sorted out

Cheers
CrashKelly

This is what I did - thanks!

If you guys thought the servers were bad for Rush, brace yourselves.
Iron Man is coming...

Yes, the Iron Man Kimchi release is going to be nothing short of ridiculous. I'm not holding out much hope on that one, short of a cyber miracle. Even if the Kimchi server issues get sorted out, this is probably going to be a mess, given the popularity of IM.

Gah.......Missed out on all the excitement. Its on days like this I hate working at 6am in the morning. Gotta pay the bills though. I'm in no RUSH to track a copy. Patience will be my best friend.

For sure the lenti will be selling for less than cost price once they flood eBay. 4,000 copies were picked up in minutes, and along with the fact a lot of collectors already have the UKs amazing Rush, there will not be enough collectors who actually need this to drive the price up. If anyone does, once again the UK version will prove to be the wiser option long term for less money originally.

I'm confused by people saying that Kimchi should do a 4K print run for Iron Man and Drive etc as there were too few copies of Rush for everyone.

This run WAS a 4k print run - it was just split between the various packages.
...

The problem in this statement is that in IM thread its speculated print run is nowhere near 4K, it's 2.5K.

If 4K of a less popular title went in such a rush, what will happen with 2.5K IM?

With a 4k print run it's a pretty decent amount but it was immense because of its packages, with IM a low print run could be because of its 'one' package maybe? As far as I can see it's only the lenticular that's been talked about but I could be wrong.

Was looking forward to getting this, was my day off and I forgot to set a reminder and now it's OOS. Suppose at least I save money for my quality Zavvi releases :hilarious:

Can I change the option to pay it?
Yesterday kimchi website too crowded,
Pay no attention to, select WireTransfer .....
Check order only to find .....
Can I change CreditCard payments it?

Getting back on topic, the following was posted earlier on Kimchi's facebook page (emphasis mine):

Kimchidvd always appreciated your interest about Rush Kimchidvd exclusive edition.
unfortunately Rush was sold out in a day due to high demand and server issue has been happened again.
Kimchidvd felt sorry about all kimchidvd fans who missed rush exclusive edition.
Kimchidvd will find a way to improve our site and customer service

Let's hope this happens before the IM & Drive releases and thank you Kimchi for listening.

Heard that some Time ago that the Server upgrades will be before Rush-and what happend? Nothing.:(

As long as they sell their Steels-why should they change it?

Hope i am wrong:thumbs:;)

That's correct, but snafus happen and what they might have had planned for the "before Rush launch" might have gotten pushed back. That's just an educated guess seeing as there's a number of variables to take into consideration.

There's obviously plenty of room to discuss and speculate (but not in this thread* :p )

*Here's preferred :)

Your forgetting a few basic points here

Yes it was 4000 Units but split up
1/4 Slip 500
Full Slip 1000
Lenticular 2500
Total 4000

Important point to remember Rush UK steelbook is OOP
Third Party sellers €40.00 and up and not that many available as even the scalpers got caught out with the UK release they missed out themselves as they were not expecting Rush UK Steelbook to end up as a sold out release

The Kimchidvd Exclusive Steelbooks are nice and there also now Sold Out

So if anyone wants to purchase a Rush Steelbook it isn't going to be Cheap
Unless you want the Italy Version with the Printed Back Artwork in Italian

Rush is a very good Film and as with lot of films some end up doing well on Home Video Market after a cinema Release after word of mouth about the Film
Reason Rush was not a Major Box Office Success in the Cinema was some Marketing mistakes not promoting the film enough especially outside of the UK
Its very costly to do a proper Marketing of a film when done correct it can cost millions and also be a mistake if it does not work

Some of the Sales Yesterday will be scalpers but a lot would be ordinary fans of the film who missed out on the UK Steelbook and others who only heard about its a good film

I have the UK Steelbook and sort of Promoted the Steelbook to people's attention
I love the Film and Yesterday was my First Kimchidvd purchase so that says a lot as to me liking Rush as a Film in general

I think some of the underestimated desirability for this title was due to the nature of F1 fans in general. They're not stuck for a penny and are big on merchandise. I'd imagine Kimchi had sales from a large number of countries worldwide. Of course I'm speculating, but as a big F1 fan myself it's something I'd really like to have (especially from a history point of view).

did anyboy hear from them (Tony) about the "order recieved" problems...?
I have emailed the address posted here but didn´t hear anything yet..
and since they didn´t bother to email me back last time and I ended up with nothing again I am getting a tad worried now

I've not heard yet either and I sent 2 paypal payments last night. They probably have a backlog of emails to get through. I'm sure we will hear something in the next 24 hours or so. Be patient :)

Rush kinchidvd is underestimated due to UK release.

initially people said pass for me and satisfied with UK or IT.

so I thiught it will not be sold out quickly. But I'm wrong.

after package shot revealed, people rushed to pre order stage.

Kimchidvd did not know how fast this sell out

I think next underestimated is memento.

sent from Galaxy S4

To be fair, there was a lot of people on here that said it would sell out very quickly.
