13 months longer than you. But that's being petty.

Check the voters on the closed poll for my 'contribution'!!!

As if losing out on picking up something I've 'followed' for the last few months, I'm getting abuse...what for?

Yes, and the fact that I have contributed with over 700 thanks and 400 posts in HALF the time you have been a member is not helping your case.

I am also very sad that I missed the full and quarter slip. Tried half an hour to get it, but in the end was not successful. Nevertheless I hope that the Kimchidvd releases remain limited, because that makes it even better, if you succeed in getting one. Sometimes you win, sometimes you loose. I will get over it, not having These in my collection or if I decide otherwise, I will possibly spend some big bucks to get them, which I usually not intend to do.

Best wishes,

Michael

Well I am sick and tired of people who want limited print runs so that their purchases are valuable in the future. I buy steels I think are aesthetically pleasing, I don't give a rats ass whether they sell out and become grail or make money in the future. I don't care if they never sell out. More the merrier I say.the more people that are able to enjoy a work of art and possess something beautiful the better it is. Quality better than scarcity. I will never sell my steels so I don't care if they have 100000 print run.

If value was suddenly stripped away from all collectible items the whole system would collapse. Items that increase in value help create high demand, and high demand helps Kimchi secure better exclusives with all the extra bells and whistles. If they started making 10,000K runs and never sell out they would be out of business. Other than some fixes to their website and servers, the whole system works perfectly.

Totally agree, you need to be sick in the head to have enjoyed what went on on the Kimchi site today

VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION.....Has anybody had their order saying RECIEPT OF ORDER updated to ORDER COMPLETED in the last few hours????

Im guessing Kimchi are asleep and hoping that nobody answers yes.
Then there is still hope for what tomorrow brings!!!

This is still the case for me too. I've sent an e-mail, but assuming i'm not the only one to do so, I expect a bit of a wait before I get a response.

What I question is, are there any members here who get to bypass the mad scramble of trying to order by having a different process in place especially for them? I see some of the same names over and over again consistently commenting on getting the impossibly hard to get exclusives, how does that happen? Just a question...

Luck, Luck, Luck.
Deep pockets
Fast Internet
Good timing

I don't think so.. You just have to be lucky with your refreshes to hit the server just when it's accepting a new connection. I got in after a minute or so and then it was completely dead for another 5..

Maybe that's more of a question for the kimchi retailer thread - before we get too off track, please post over there...

I mostly think it luck, but i do have my own method.

1. First i login.
2. then i have the pages open ready.
3. F5, F5 at the time.

But i believe it all down to luck and my fiber :oohyeah:

Just seems strange that the same see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil always get "lucky". But as AP rightly says, maybe this is for the retailer thread.
