Anyway, just wanted to share my customized inside art for this.

can anybody confirm that this is the corrected version? I played it on my PS3 and I didn't notice anything amiss... but I've read in other forums that it does in fact have the lip synch problem..
It's the corrected version - 100%.
There was a delay in the initial release of this steelbook when it first came out.
I think it was about a week or so (maybe two) - and the word at the time was that all the discs were being swapped out.
Not sure if that part is true, but I do know the disc inside this steelbook does not have the audio synch issue.
Well that's good to know.. I was informed before I bought this German steel that it's going to have the corrected version. And when I watched it the other night, I didn't notice any delay in the audio. I was surprised to read in the other forums that it is otherwise. Thanks for the clarification Andy!

I was like you at first, too scared I might damage the steel. But when I finally got around to trying it, I realized it was pretty easy. Anyone can do it.
ui got this one today. i bid on this one on e bay just because i was bored and i didn't think i would get it but i won it for about 30 with shipping. not bad ah? but when i got it, i wasn't expecting the for this very nice steelbook, i m not into war movies, but the steelbook on this one is just great. at the end i'm super glad

I prefer the French one to this because of it's inside artwork, but the outside of the German one looks good too.
