Scammer warning! Return of user known as goatrider & cees

Updated February 2/12/2013 user returned as 'isis'.

hey folks! sorry to deliver some bad news, but a scammer that we've done our best to keep tabs on has yet again returned this forum.

We have caught him here before he has done damage, and I hope it's the same again.

The user currently known as "ASTALDO" has been discovered to be the one and the same user as GOATRIDER, and most recently as aklass and cees and blubook.

IF YOU HAVE A PENDING TRADE WITH THIS USER, PM MYSELF OR ANOTHER MOD IMMEDIATELY!!!

yeah its good that hes being picked up early now, it wasnt very nice getting hit like that. ive noticed over at BRF.com he is using blubook over there as a new member putting in posts.

thanks for the headsup especially for new forumer like me as i don't know a lot of members..so far a lot of you guys had been very nice. blubook had tried to trade with me as well..for Gladiator NL..

It's nice to know that the mods are there to watch our backs. I've had nothing but good things to say about the trades/sales/buys on this forum. I wanted to make a poll when Waiterguy was screwing everyone over on BR.com. He wanted my I Am Legend Sealed/Mint and sent all his agreed upon steels for our trade. I wanted to screw him over for everyone else but ended up sending the steel. He did ask me to send it without him sending his. I'm glad I was precautious.

i got stung when he was using goatrider on this forum! payed £65 for a supposed copy of indy 4 that never turned up and after 2 messages saying he sent it then dissapeared fortunately i got my money back from paypal.

This is the Thieving B*****d that conned me and Lgans out of £300 between us over on BR.com under the name cees.

thanks for the heads up and I also believe maybe you can keep this as a sticky and update other aliases he might use in the future so we can come back and check. Bastards like these might lay low for a while then strike again at the right moment

Hey guys - in the trading forum, there is a stickied thread for bad traders. We've listed this guy's KNOWN aliases, etc there - and it's also a place to report other bad traders (but NOT trading disputes on this forum - those should go to mods / staff members).

If you'd like to keep up to date with that thread, I'd suggest subscribing via an e-mail update or something of that nature.

And for those who complain about 30 posts limitations before trading, or 7 posts before PMing. These are reasons why we have that set up.

It takes time to research people, and it takes time to reach 30 posts. We have reasons for everything and its always in the best interest of the community.

Yeah the 30 post rule is a good idea. But I do notice a lot of new members just posting quick replies in post, in sucsession. You can really notice it late night, when you see the same member posting page after page.
