And how would you know this unless you are involved in this business?
I know how to see how many left in stock and is how I posted previously the stock levels
I was asked to not post the actual stock levels after this

Let's just say if you want the Blu Box I would order soon
If you just want to get the Lenti or Full Slip on it's own you will see photos soon of the actual Full Slip to help decide

I'm sorry but that Canadian edition is pretty daft! Whoever thought it was a good idea to have Shaun's head completely cut off on the front cover must've had a bang on the head themselves! But then again there's no accounting for taste (unfortunately)!
Simon Peggs deadpan expression is Awesome!
But it's OK to have Peggs head cut off for this full slip??

Yeah that's fine cuz inside the FullSlip is a steelbook with him on it head and all! That Canadian steelbook would be great if it had a FullSlip with just his head on!
But it doesn't:sick:

I believe the Canadian one has good picture on the back. just saying. I think for those who come in the hobby after its easy to not like the Canadian. While its not the best total package for numerous reasons its still a very nice steel as the spot on the bat etc. that is hard to show in pics on the net. Course there was that golden age of blu-banners haha.

Loved the Alliance wave days when the market wasn't flooded and receiving a steelbook in the mail was a rare occurrence, so it actually felt super exciting! Man, I feel like a grandparent... "back in my day". :old:

I still have all my Alliance steels to this day... I'm going to wait until they're considered antiques and then make my millions by selling them to a museum.

That's not a terrific mark of success. I can't remember any other one click ever lasting this long before
It's a first release not that many outside of HDN and some other forums know about Everything Blu considering this the amount sold of the Blu-box is a lot

Blu Box is going to end up sold out that is a success for that edition

A print run of 500 that is nearly sold out is a edition doing very well not every release with a print run of 500 needs to sell out extreme fast
If it takes 1 day or 1 month it's the same end result

The individual editions will take a good while and will be after release date

Oh, I'm sure there have been many of those lasting quite a bit longer than where we are now with Shaun.

Two recent examples:

NovaMedia The Jungle Book, 300 units, pre-order live on November 18th, still available.

HDzeta Batman v Superman: The Dawn of Justice, 150 units in HDN GB, live December 11th, the current last entry was accepted on January 5th.

Forgot about Jungle book:whistle: Fair play:thumbs: It definitely doesn't mean Everythingblu should be concerned. It was to be expected. It's just not impressive

Don't forget small independent retailers and high volume retailers like HMV/Zavvi/Amazon is lot different
Amazon and Zavvi would have high file discounts and lower dealer prices than a small setup that sell small quantity of stock

A lot of the premium releases are from small setup so their costs are higher

Mmm, and so are the corresponding profits Paul. You don't really think they're doing this for the benefit of their health do you?
This is about finding a gap in a niche market, minimising costs and maximising profits - it's the name of the game, I'm afraid.

Nova jungle book one click is still in stock. That's been a while (longer than this)

Hasn't a few manta one click been around a few weeks before selling out too?

Edit: can see that's already been said, I hadn't refreshed the page

You have to take into account that EB are very much the little guys here and they don't have the same clout as say KimichiDVD or FilmArena especially when you consider that this is their first WEA steelbook! It takes time to build a reputation and to establish yourself as serious player which I hope they do when this edition is released! good luck to them!
Big things have small beginnings!

This may have sold out sooner if they chose a film that didn't already have x amount of steelbook releases. There is an exclusive release and then there is an exclusive release if you know what I mean.

I believe the shipping price has been the main deterrent. I have all editions minus that ridiculous Mondo version and I was still incredibly excited for this release, but when I went to process my order the shipping skyrocketed the price because my shipping options went away. It immediately dissuaded me from ordering as it showed me the fair option and then forced me into the premium option, which I have no need for.

Between EB stating that they will fix the shipping options in the future and the hint of a Hot Fuzz Steelbook (which should naturally lead to a World's End Steelbook) I have decided bite the bullet and put my faith in the future of the company. Hopefully, it's all up from here.
