It's a bit soap opery, dragged out, everything they show could be within 2 episodes. But I just finished EP10 yesterday, and the ending is great, will be really hard waiting for S2.

I also just finished it yesterday and would agree with you... felt very dragged out at points and like we were going around in circles. I wasn't all that blown away by the ending, but will certainly still give season 2 a go.

Didn't read book but it's definitely my top Apple+ TV show. Ending offers so much more that it'll be interesting to see what they'll show us in S02.
