Not surprised, there must have been loads of cancellations and I am sure that there will be loads sent back too.
Such a sad release for a good film however, this being a Warners release I wouldn’t be shocked if there is a much better release around the corner. After all, it made a ton of money & it was well received.
The steel looks fine head on. Streaky side on. It's not the worst, but obviously not the best. I don't think it should be gloss, but a quality zero finish would've been a big improvement imo.
Just got the steel, what the hell is this crap?
The finish isn't good but the actual image is really badly done, looks very low contrast/dull, this could have been one of the best releases of the year and the blacks and reds could have looked great, instead this is just disappointing. The stock photos are frankly deceptive compared to the final product.

missed a trick with no embossing imo, the border is right there as part of the image! all 4 panels and the actor would have been great.
Cheap ass studios trying to save $ putting out the worst possible finish and print quality.
I could well cancel my order from Amazon Germany but I'm not sure there's much point even though this looks disappointing, would cost me €32 to get the standard 4K (€5 in the difference) and at least I should be able to sell on the steel whenever a premium is released.
As stated above it’s not too bad head on. It’s when you start to move it you see the streak and the dullish/ washed out image. I’ll keep the steel and then hope maybe Manta tackle it one day as it’s WB. You won’t get a new tradewide for at least 2 years. Most likely a rigid slip exclusive version
Thing is I definitely want the movie and to watch it soon so I'm going to buy it one way or another so it's basically +€5 for the steelbook or save the €5. I figure I could probably get a few quid back for it down the line?
It could be better but it’s really not that bad in hand. I loved the film enough to keep it.
Kinda disappointed by the movie too, had some strong points especially the music but it felt a lot like what I'd expect if From dusk till dawn were made by a director obsessed with identity politics.
