Just got back from my local BB and I did some browsing but while I was there I was asking about a few upcoming movies and doing a search he found a Snow White And The Huntsman Steelbook listing.

Has there been any news on debossed/embossed? From pics of the FS interior art it doesn't look like it, which is somewhat of a disapointment. Still a good looking steelbook thoe. No doubt the gold on the cover will be reflective.

There is no embossing / debossing from what the guys @ Future Shop have said.

They might have used a raised letter effect, kind of like the Fighter has, but I'm a bit unclear on that.

looking on the inside of the FS version you can't see any embossing bumps, so I wouls say likely a no go

I am surprised no one has this steelbook in hand yet. Given the scarcity of US steelbooks, this is going to be one hot property tomorrow morning at many BB stores. I just looked online for store pickup and 10 stores within a 60 mile radius are sold out of online purchases for store pickup. They are all showing In-store purchases only.

Get it now if you are still undecided. This one will go fast. You can always return it later

In the end I just couldn't ditch this one and wound up canceling my pre-order for the UK edition. Man, talk about tough decisions. When it finally came down to it, the deciding factor was this one has two discs and the UK edition only has one. Mines already waiting for me at BB, just have to bear the PAIN and wait till tomorrow to pick it up.

If possible, I highly recommend heading to the store at opening time just in case the steels they set aside for you have "issues." Just saying...

Hey those are the same hours as me and I'm in the same predicament.

My hours change, working at a golf course. During most of the summer i work 4:30 am til 12:30, if i don't stay for overtime. During the late fall and winter suck the most, having to wait to start until 7 am, atleast until i get my 2-3 month layoff, which i look foreward to every year. That's when it's videogame and blu-ray tv season time.

I typically work 6-2pm but I'm on call 24hrs a day due to the fact that a Network never sleeps and I'm the one who usually monitors and fixes the networks and other IT related issues. In all my power I will be at BB by 2:20 tomorrow afternoon to pick mine up.

Hmm, interesting. I have pre-ordered the night before the release for Twilight, Underworld, Wrath of the Titans, Sherlock Holmes 2, etc and this is the first time I have seen this. But thanks for the heads-up. All the more to head to the store tomorrow morning.
