I just don´t understand this, this is my first BB-order by the way, I received a shipping confirmation on monday, yet the ups website tells me there is no tracking available and my friend in the US says nothing has arrived yet.
Anyone having the same problems???

You get better tracking information from the UPS.com site. The link from the Bestbuy.com order page or email confirmation takes you to a landing page to confirm the item has been received by UPS.

I flew to California yesterday so if anyone is in need of a copy send me a message and I may be able to order one for you.

Try all BB's within 50 miles are sold out! Wonder if they'll restock soon or ordering thru the website is the only option at this point?

I did notice that my local shops restocked the Avengers Viva, so maybe they'll restock this, but I doubt it. Looks like they were shipped in the cardboard standee, plus a few to fill the metal shelves, and not many others.

I'm sure BB will restock once they raise the price this Sunday. At least that's what it seemed liked for the last few releases.

Just got the info, the package has finally arrived :scat: Now I´m hoping that it arrives without any dents or scratches here at my place across the pond :ohno:
Oh, I hate waiting...

Mine has arrived as well...but I'll only be able to open it in December when I get back in the States.

I almost want to order a second copy just to make sure at least one of them is in mint condition...

Zelos, if you are looking for your post on the mail order you received from Best Buy, I have moved it here to keep the steelbook thread on topic.

Are you sure it's not meant to be here? I'm just warning potential buyers for this steelbook to not take the chance on BestBuy.com and really go for a in store-pickup.

Hi Zelos -

Unfortunately not all retailers are like some of those in Europe, play.com is a good example, and they don't take extra care in shipping steelbooks.

We have a few threads that are preferable options for discussions about damaged items and retailer packaging.

This includes the one ash moved your post to, as well as the damaged and venting steelbook thread.

Discussions about retailer packing and packaging often get out hand on discussion threads - the main point of this thread is to discuss the movie, the steelbook, or any content there-in.

So in the future, if we get some good contacts with Best Buy, we can point to the one thread that ash moved your feedback to, and perhaps they could improve their packaging.

But if your feedback is posted in this thread, it will indeed get lost and probably never make it to someone that could change their shipping & packaging methods.

Hope that makes sense.

It really does, thanks a lot for your explanation!

I just hope peope have the general knowledge of not ordering any steelbooks online at BestBuy.com then ;) - I tend to check a topic like this much more often than complaint-topics, personally.

Most people in the USA are quite aware how Best Buy ships items.

You are unlikely to get the item in a box unless you order a quantity or potentially with some other item that is too bulky to fit into a simple plastic / bubble mailer.
