I just saw this today, reality is - it was a glitched.

Some feeling "know it all" in futureshop forum site were trying to tell everyone that it was sold out until he got slapped with a "re-stocked" on-line

Looks like nobody was excited with the Future Shop release...I forgot about it and did not even know it was being released today, and when I went to Future Shop there were still lots of them! wow! Ofcourse I bought some...just in case it sells out...tomorrow! ;-)

Probably because we found out that it would not be embossed/debossed. If we hadn't, I think this thread would have been buzzing in the last few days.

I went to the closest FS at lunch and picked up a copy. They had about 15 out on the rack. It took me a while to find the SB as they didn't have a display and they didn't place them next to the regular blu-ray and dvd disks...probably spent 5mins looking for it...LOL.

I haven't opened it to inspect it, but most, if not all of the ones had tears in the wrapping. I picked the one with the least amount of tears.

Not as bad as HG - D12 but some had similar paint issues.

Me too, I normally receive the online orders on monday when the item is released on tuesday. I think I know why tho. FS is upgrading its system, so plenty of delays everywhere.

I got mine delivered today. This is the second time I've got a steelbook in their new packaging, a big box with the steelbook at the bottom and a lot of paper over it. Thankfully, it's in good shape.

truth be told mine looked great
I didn't see any defects with it

i went to pick one up today

be careful though, i saw many with scratches on the edge between the spine and the front cover. some also had a scratch right across the middle of the spine

Received mine today, just one tiny scratch on the front but to be honest it's not a problem, I was a bit nervous with some of the comments but all is well. Have to say it's a great steel, I'm glad I went with this release, couldn't make my mind up between the UK and this one - right choice I think.
