Looks fine overall but slightly disappointed It’s not full gloss like the other 2 and it’s only the blue bolts and some other parts that are glossed. Sonic, tails and Knuckles are all matte! (Not streaky)

Also only 1 disc is a bit sh!t too. Overall happy with it though

Tbh I didn’t look at the info or even click it’s one disc in the pic. And it’s no biggie but I just find it sh!t they are skipping the Blu Ray discs. I also remember reading that paramount or someone else were moving to this format of one disc

The shadow edition is similar, white and characters are matte, red bolts, rings, and characters accents like eyes and metal are gloss. I'dve preferred full gloss, but I think it works quite well.

Think this is going to be the first HMV preorder to not turn up on the Saturday for me.

Turned out better than I expected but I still dislike that you can't easily tell which film it's from by the front and rear covers. The older steels made it clear which film they're from, the first showing the title and younger Robotnik on the rear, the second with the big 2 and Knuckles v Sonic on the rear while the third just has Sonic on the front and Knuckles + Tails.

That is exactly why I got the shadow variant. Plus, his pose looks much cooler than sonic's imo.

Yup, arrived with single 4k disc only.

So annoyed as it limits where i can watch it now (only have the one 4k and its for gaming mostly, not in the living room)
