Ok guys, maybe really baaad news! Not all Steels confirmed...but some are confirmed (T3, Machete, Fast, Hanna) and amazon changed all the artworks(removed the j-card), so i list all possible steels of the wave!

Ok, so i dont own Salt and got only a damaged Grren Hornet! But thats not a wave for us collectors! I am really angry! Why the hell they only produce rereleases, Warner, Sony...all the same!

I as a collector want movies in steels without a steelbook release yet!

Seriously..what's the point of collecting when everything is going to be re-released. This is making amarays more attractive for the price plus not having to pay all the shipping fees for importing these steelbooks (at least for us U.S. collectors).

Exactly. Even tho I'm not the kind of guys who would spend a lot of money on steelbooks, it's a little frustrating to see all of these re-releases, it removes all my fun (which is the hunt and the negotiations). No fun = no more interest on my part.

This wave from Sony is causing alot of disappointment for sure, but its not like everybody is guilty of re releases. Future Shop has always been a strong pillar, and I'm hoping that Play.com follows FS's lead. At first, Play released alot of titles that were already released elsewhere. Now I'm seeing some very very good releases from them. Hopefully, they'll keep their noses clean, and not do crap like this. Ever since they did the same thing to RE Quad, I'm extremely wary of these German releases to say the least.

I seriously doubt they will spend the dough it costs to do what they did with Green Hornet last time. I too expect inferior releases. On some tho, I kinda welcome ... Like the Patriot for instance ... while not a total english release it is however better art then the original.

Faster and Zombieland bother me, but I dont think they will compare to the older ones.

Well you can always start with those Gentle Giants Statues. Always nice and there limited.

But back to the topic at hand...i'm kind of glad they brought back those OOS German SB's. Yeah in a way it hurts the value of the original but it hurts the Ebay scalpers even more.

Besides the lack of interior art, printed logo, paint finish, is there any other thing they could do to make them inferior? Quality-wise?

I've noticed some steelbooks don't appear to have the same quality; the metal layer seems thinner, the folds at the top and bottom of the spine do not look well done...

4 Steels are confirmed and u can preorder them now! They updated their artwork.
The point is, they updated the artwork for the other steels too! So it seems very possible, that all got a rerelease, maybe with a later release date!
I hope ur right man, but im not very optimistic!

I don`t like that they rerelease every title now. I also already have the good movies of this wave. If they have the Logo printed on the Steel I will buy not even one. Otherwise I might buy T3, Patriot and maybe Zombieland. Very dissapointing. I want movies in a Steelbook that have none yet.

The jury's possibly still out whether this will de-value or increase the value of the original releases of Zombieland, Faster etc, but I will put up my hand and say I wont order any of this...bad, sony, bad.

Hmm.. Mixed feelings about this wave. I don't expect embossing/debossing, so awesome Steels like Green Hornet could be kind of a let-down.
In addition - I know it's too early - but I also expect that FSK-Stickers to be printed on like Warner did it with their re-releases.

Probably still getting 2012 and The Patriot.
